It's insane how much people are willing to spend on eBay for these things!
On this listing alone, people are paying up to $45 for one collectable!
Might as well just buy groceries for the same amount and try your luck.
Give it 6 months and they will be worthless. Just like the previous giveaways. Everyone was going crazy for those Marvel disc things a few years back paying crazy money for certain ones. Now worthless. I should flog my Coles ones off now while I can get something for them.:p
No doubt true, but damned if it ain’t a brilliant money spinner. I’ve heard so many stories of people going to the supermarket and buying heaps more groceries than they need, just to get those little collectible goodies. Brilliant marketing strategy.Quote:

Yes, for those wondering a red hand gets you a coles gift voucher and coles advertised that there were 400 over Australia still to find. I think its $100 worth per gift card.

We're missing heaps, so unlikely we'll actually complete ours. Meh.
We're currently doing renovations and living with the in-laws. We've been keeping these aside for the younger cousins in the family, although I have picked out the bananas (an easy feel!) to possibly use with MP Primal in due course. Have to remove the Coles sticker from them and slap on some paint, but might be worth the effort.
We don't have a lot, at the moment our only double is the coffee I think

Considering some employees have been taking the cases before they even go out, doesn't surprise me that they are selling out...
Did they also "apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused"? Below is the reply I received:
"We have been overwhelmed by the popularity of Little Shop at Coles. Most of the range of limited edition merchandise we had available has unfortunately sold out. However, customers can still collect one miniature for every $30 they spend at Coles supermarkets. We do apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused.

@1AZRAEL1 - There was a news story about staff acquiring all of the cases at a NSW store before customers had a chance to buy them. It's really disappointing for customers who have completed their collection but don't have a case. It wouldn't be difficult for Coles to take paid pre-orders from customers who still need a case. But I doubt Coles would bother doing that because it would too much work given the promotion is nearly over and they've made their money.
Promotion has ended. Have you seen how crazy the prices are on gumtree and ebay for a complete set?
I'm missing one last item - the White King Power Clean bottle.

I finally completed my set, finding the last item I needed yesterday. PHEW!
Now to figure out whether it is worth selling my spares or not...
