Not the only one, this sucks, lucky this is (hopefully) last cw type combiner I'd get
-
Quite a price gap now to Ohmyprimus who has wave 2 listed for about A$112 shipped. Wanted to support Zing/EB on these but that's quite a difference on an already expensive set.

You won't look like an idiot in 2-3 years time. You'll thank yourself for preordering.
-
Bit of a shame but I'm going to have to get these through Ohmyprimus. Not sure if I'll get Big Convoy just yet. May as well, to display with MP-48 but will probably go through Ohmyprimus as well.
-
Damn. I don’t mind paying a bit more for Australian Consumer Law statutory rights, but $24 extra for 2 deluxes (vs OhMyPrimus) is a bit much. Might be good to send a message to Zing before they get too cocky.
-
The price increase might not be EB's fault but I'll ask.
-
Pre-ordered the Seacons. As for the price increase... thanks falling dollar & Trump's trade war nonsense... but $16 won't be missed once they're in hand.
-
Just carted and estimated at omp.... 114 sgd which converts to 120 aud right now.... plus whatever extra charges or rate changes happen between now and feb.
So only 16 not 24 Jay...
Zing can take my order and bring on 5 and 6.
-
I'll order my pair next week when I get paid again

I guess if they charged gst it would be about the same.
Get them from where you trust if they are cheaper... Australian prices are always more so when they aren't (like Unicron) it is great.

Whether you put in Sydney or Melbourne the shipping with OMP is SGD 16. Add that to the SGD 90 item cost gives you SGD 106. At the current exchange rate that translates to $112. So a difference of $24 as per Jay.
The SGD to AUD has been incredibly stable at around 0.93-0.95 for the last 12 months regardless of trade wars etc. In any case it can also be paid for upfront for around $118 from Robot Kingdom to avoid any currency uncertainty.
-
I think you’re mistaken. Their site annoyingly keeps defaulting back to US shipping. It messes with me all the time. Shipping should only be SGD 16. Item is 90. SGD 106 = AUD 112. Zing 136 - 112 = 24.
EDIT: Don’t get me wrong. I love what Zing is doing. I’ve preordered everything else with them. I’m just signalling back to them.

Just picked up Big Convoy from the local
-
I just spoke with the EB Games call centre. They are now expecting the Wave 2 Seacons on the 11th of June.

*Sigh*....

Thank god i'm patient....

I have wave 3 ordered for delivery. The date on them has shifted to 11/6 as well, so here's hoping they get a shipment next week.

LOL. Judging by the website and some answers I got at Northlakes, won't be until much later this year.
-
Wave 2 Seacons are listed as in-store 12/06/2020 at the moment. We shall see if EB Games keeps that date.
-
I would be shocked if it wasn't moved out again. Last week I was given a date in November.

The online date said Nov for one of them for like a day.... then changed back to June
-
If the date was shown as all-numbers, then it was assumed that the day and month were swapped around by accident, but then fixed up later.
-
That is an entirely plausible explanation. Interestingly enough, they're "Out Now" as of this morning. I think they probably will be instore this week.
-
At least one of them is available now - when I was in Northlakes I checked it and they said one of wave #2 would be in store today.
-
I collected Kraken during lunch. I have a feeling Lobclaw will arrive next week - from memory there were a few days between Turtler and Gulf

I got Kraken today also. The manager of my EB Games thinks it will be next week that Lobclaw will come in as it's unlikely he's in Thursday or Friday's load.
-
I got a shipping notice for both of the second pair of Seacons today
-
I picked up Kraken today from Zing Helensvale. Not sure if he is the second or the third Seacon? I?m hoping the rest turn up soon, but glad to be one stepcloser
-
Kraken was 3... Lobclaw is 4
-
I still haven't had any messages about Kraken and Lobclaw...???

Kraken was released 3 weeks ago so call in to your store or call up to see if they still have it.
Lobclaw is delayed again. Is still showing as June 10th but still not out yet when I checked at a store yesterday.
-
Perhaps not a heap of people have got Kraken yet. I remember for the first 2 there was alot of posts, but I'm not seeing too many for this one.

I got my Kraken (along with Tentakil and Overbite) on Monday, but no sign of Lobclaw.
-
I got Kraken on Saturday, Overbite and Tentakil on Monday. Just waiting on Lobclaw.
-
I was told by my local EB Games store that Lobclaw should be in the warehouse today and will hopefully show up at stores on Monday.
-
My EB account says all of the four are "out now" but I haven't had a message from them to collect. Sounds like if I go in they might have some (but probably not all?).
Shame the store closes at 4pm on a Friday (for some reason).
-
Okay, I?m one step closer then. Three more to go!
-
My Kraken outer box had this label on it, which I thought was odd... almost like, they are now using the regular postal service (Australia Post owns Startrack) to ship out individual items to stores, instead of sending out larger weekly shipments by a transport company that would be a lot cheaper for them.

That seems odd. EB Games deliveries to stores are sent via courier in larger shipments and daily. It's almost as if your Kraken was sent out by their home delivery service which is standard Australia Post and Star Track.
