Not sure I'm into that at all.
Would prefer a techno organic look to the real look.

From what we can see it just looks like a smaller version (not the same mould though) of T30 Rattrap. I'll stick with my deluxe. Seems a bit more complex than I expected though.
Updated link in first post, to the start of that news topic, which has a number of extra images of both modes added to it.
It's so crazy all the Kingdom information coming out with earthrise still in wave 2ish.
So who's getting the inevitable Generations Selects Packrat?
Pretty sure that?s a third party Legends scale Rattrap that I saw Peaugh review a few days ago. The toy is called Transform Element MM02 Mice Warriors.
I wouldn?t plug a third party here, but it looks identical to the one in this video
It's quite a bit different from the TE one. TE has the rat hind legs stay on the back while this new Rattrap has the hind legs become the robot legs. Nose is different too.
Here's a comparison between 'Kingdom', Generations and BW Rattraps: https://tformers.com/transformers-ki...8238/news.html

I think it's genuine at this point. Kinda worrying considering we haven't even had word of what ER Wave 4 will be.
Wave 2 of earthrise still hasn't been released yet and Kingdom should still be 4 months away so the toys wouldn't even be in production yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a preproduction sample taken from a Hasbro office.
A slight improvement of bot mode proportions over Generations version at the cost of turning the beast mode into an unarticulated ornament. I sincerely hope the other Kingdom beasts get better treatment.
I really need to decide if I should continue with BW MPs or switch to CHUG BW figures. Given the QC issues with the BW MPs I'm leaning toward CHUG.
Screen shots of the video that is on youtube somewhere (I don't want to post up the link to the video in case it is generating revenue, as I really think that this has to be an unauthorised acquisition)... showing the transformation and how it compares to the Generations Rattrap and Netflix Bumblebee.
The first wave of Earthrise wasn't scheduled for release until March (and started showing up in America and Asia in February... so Kingdom could have a similar release schedule, especially if retailers in America are slow to sell off Earthrise (wave 2 and 3 Deluxe class is still not out yet, with just four months left of the year, and wave 1 has been out in America for six months so far), while a lot of people are out of work or have limited income.
If Hasbro toys are leaking again, up to 6 months before they hit retail, it is more than enough time for pirate companies to acquire and copy the toys, to sell them before the real ones are released. I like seeing some leaks, close to their release (because it is annoying tease if something is leaked this early and you have to wait half a year to get one), but if this continues and we are already seeing competition between people wanting to have these on youtube, I think it might not be too long before Hasbro in America does something about it.
These are claimed to also be from next year's Generations line, leaked from China - Cheetor, Blackarchnia and Warpath.
These look pretty great for retail release figures, and I'm glad that BW is finally getting the widespread love and respect it gets. It's hard to say at this point whether I'll skip them entirely to try and save some money, or just go all out. There are so many great releases lately, it's difficult to keep up. It definitely seems like with the thinner more human like profiles of the BW characters that they'll be able to save a decent chunk of plastic money for making these figures.
I did buy T30 and Rattrap and Waspinator which are great versions of those characters (I missed Rhinox sadly), so maybe I will cave eventually.
I'm all in for Warpath though 100%, I just hope he is a small Legends-sized Deluxe, or even just a Core class figure. It would look way out of place with my minibots if he was too big.
I like the screen accuracy of the figures. There's a rumour floating about that Tigatron is going to be a Voyager class with separate engineering to Cheetor (who is a deluxe).
Problematically, I found quite a few of the season 1 BW designs kind of bland. That said I'd love a screen accurate Terrorsaur, and a do-over on Universe 2.0 Dinobot.
If this goes so far as the later designs like Fuzors and Transmetals, I'm all in. A new Silverbolt and TM2 Dinobot after all this time would be dream stuff.
I could do with a decent Tigatron. :)
Im hoping this opens the door down the line to retail releaes of the BW characters in pre Earthen alt modes. The botcon 06 set was great but too dear for 16 year old me.
Note, link has coarse language.

I’m not sure how I feel about the whole thing. Obviously I feel for the Hasbro team working hard on these designs only to have them leaked during not even the middle of the previous toyline. At the same time I understand these guys just want to throw us fans a bone and share the love. We don’t usually see much of the pre-release stages, apart from with Unicron and a few prototype bits here and there for Omega, Trypticon and the like. I’ll admit it’s pretty cool to see a prototype stage Cyclonus for example.
If anything out of all this, I think the fact that so much is leaking and/or circulating around the fandom indicates that there is a restlessness in the fandom that should maybe be addressed in some way, though I’m honestly not quite sure what that is/how it should be.
I think most of us are getting a bit burnt out or exhausted with constant reveals/listings, but at the same time I (and others) can’t help but get uber excited anyway. It’s some rubbernecking that is fierce for collectors, even when stresses are so high.
I see it in two ways.
Firstly and objectively, it is absolutely Hasbro's right to decide when things are revealed and come down hard on those who violate NDAs and such. There is no rational argument I can present that will dispute that.
On a more selfish level though, I have certainly been enjoying the leaks as I like to see Transformers as soon as I hear about them. So while I fully understand it is Hasbro's right to do this, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little upset.
I like some leaks too, but mostly the name leaks, as this got out of hand really fast, to the point of risking future official toys if pirate companies managed to reproduce them first.
That twitter thread was very vague... but I haven't been following discussions on tfw. It sort of sounded like people were upset about other people having a problem with stolen goods and as a result they would stop sharing images in retaliation.
Screen-shots of the "leaked" DLX Cheetor toy from a youtube video.
And of the "leaked" DLX Blackarachnia toy, also from a youtube video.
Latest leak: Next year's Titan Class is The Ark.

The Beast Wars figures are looking pretty good. Though it will be forever before they come out!
And with the Ark it feels like Hasbro is really completing most of what you need for a G1 line.
PS. Maybe this thread needs a title change since it is more than Rattrap now?
Screenshot images of Warpath from another youtube video.
These Deluxe toys next year are certainly getting smaller.
The comparison photo show it's not too bad. It's what I expected though size-wise for a deluxe minibot following Cliffjumper's lead.
Cheetor and Blackarachnia are both thin/slim characters too so it's reasonable (although the price still bites)
I like how someone posted the cartoon scale chart on that thread. If anything the Skyfire toy is too tall!
Pretty sure Warpath is on the smaller side because he is a minibot. It doesn’t seem like he’s quite as small as Bumblebee and Cliffjumper though which I actually would have liked, but I can see why they maybe didn’t go all the way. I’m fine with it, looks like a great toy still.
Eh, just call it what it is, they're charging the same for less product and simpler designs.
No need to be pretty about it or engage in mental gymnastics in a vain attempt to justify being ripped off.
Parts count increases the cost, even Takara have confirmed this. Okay, they could have done Cliffjumper without partsforming at a deluxe price point, but it would have meant no accessory. And having seen the way the 3P add on works, it would be super fragile and something kids would easily break. So I understand why Hasbro went the way they did.
Even how it is, it's still more complex than Refraktor. Why did nobody complain about Refraktor? And in fact rush out to buy three of them? Does Refraktor being a head taller than Cliffjumper make it a better toy?
This parts count has me interested. You have a link to it? I'd be curious to see if they share the same amount of part numbers with the other Deluxes in the wave. Figure, accessories etc
This is my own comparison. Feel free to replicate it yourself. Just note I have counted symmetrical steps (ie arms) as 1 not 2 in the method, but it is fair for everything including Cliffjumper.
Regarding an official statement on parts count we have this:
"Regarding the recent constant price increment: Takara Tomy booth director mentioned that fans have overly demanded for the cartoon aesthetic. So in order to pull off the cartoon aesthetic while maintaining the proper alt mode, the number of parts for each figure has gone up compared to the Masterpiece Datsuns or Wheeljack. The cost of materials has also gone up which also contributes to the rise in pricing. On this matter, Gamelingual let him know that many fans feel that they will be forced to quit the hobby if the prices become too expensive. The response was that this this is something they have discussed with the executives and it contributes to the decisions of what figures will be made next."
