If only I could stomach more than 15 seconds with Rove to hear it.
Don't worry Jay, I watched it to save you the trouble. She seems like the more boring person to interview ever.
That is of course because Rove never lets anyone get a word in edgewise
Not trying to be rude, but I don't think she's boring as much as she is a bit slow upstairs.

I didn't watch that interview, but did watch the one from Mornings with Kerri-Ann, and they did say later that she had to keep checking with the movie publicists before giving a lot of answers, so there was a lot of hesitation and editting of the interview. I think because she has such a minor role (apparently), she didn't really know what could be mentioned that was too spoiler-ish. She claims that her character doesn't even come into contact with any robots, so sounds like the blonde girl from the first movie.
Then again, she may indeed be a bit slow-ish, but I'm just giving her the benefit of the doubt here.
Rove is a terrible interviewer, and his show has such bad material.
Why the hell is he so popular? Why was Micallef Tonight axed but Rove wasn't? Don't Australians have taste? Don't Australians know comic wit (that is obviously missing from Rove)? Don't Australians like comedy beyond "Comedy By Shouting"?
God, I hate, Channel Ten.
But Ten has given him his highest rating show since Seachange... If Micallef was not the host I wouldnt even watch the damn thing, its a terrible show with a great host.Quote:

I think TAYG is alright. The material he's given (presumably by he, Gary McCaffrie and Michael Ward) is decent.
If they can get rid of the Gen Y guy and make the show less of a series of ads gear towards the under-20s Network Ten target audience, it will be a lot better.

Who is that irritating Gen Y guy? Why he on the show? me no understand. Micallef has often been a classy act. His "News show" on SBS was pretty good too.

Isabel Lucas does a good job in her role in the movie. Eeer, not gonna say anymore than that coz it might lose me some friends...:o
I remember seeing Good news week live when they came to Perth and Rove was on the panel. I didn't know who he was at the time, but evry time he made a joke, there was the sound of a silent crowd and you could almost hear the crickets chirping.... Paul Mcdermott would then come in with a "He's from PERTH!" and that would make the crowd go wild, bringing the show back. Sad but true.
Later when rove started his show I realised who he was. That unfunny dude from perths GNW....:rolleyes:
