Marvel's new S.W.O.R.D. comic sees the return of (spoilers)
For those fans of Death's Head, you might be interested to know that the classic version (eg not Death's Head II) has just made a reappearance in Marvel Comics.
The new series S.W.O.R.D. features a cameo appearance in issue 1 and a longer appearance previewed in issue 2 (but I can't find the image I saw last night but it included Death's Head's eye getting blasted in the eye in a way that reminded me of Mikaela and Wheelie.
S.W.O.R.D. is the Marvel Universe's equivalient of the Men In Black, a version of S.H.I.E.L.D. that deals with aliens.
Death's Head is presented in TF scale (not the human size of his later appearances following his run in with The Doctor) but I doubt Marvel will be able to sneak in references to the Transformers.
Might be worth a look, yes?
Death's Head of Transformers UK fame is back! (spoiler alert)
I was just floored to read in the new Marvel Sword #1 comic that Death's Head of Transformers UK fame (Simon Furman) is back in the marvel universe, and was unsolicited. This news might have slipped past most Transfans. Not only is the bounty hunter back and alive, he's still recognisable as him (as opposed to the failed "reboot" in Planet Hulk). He's around until at least next issue, so here's hoping he'll be a regular.
