Having seen Megan Fox IRL I concur with "So What" -- she's honestly _not_ hot. She's not ugly, but I wouldn't say she's hot either.

I'd like to see Cate Blanchett, or Miranda Otto - either would lend some class to the movie. And we know that Miranda can do action scenes... holding her own against Decepticons wouldn't be too different from dodging Oliphaunts and slaying a Wraith King. :D

Same, she is really not that attractive. You have seen much more attractive girls at your local shopping center.

She is covered in ridiculous tatoos, has no persnality and seems as intelligent as inbred trailer trash. I wouldn't want to spend time with her even if someone paid me.

And all that was said without taking the toe thumb into consideration.

In the spirit of the original question, I'd be quite happy to see Rose Byrne in Transformers 3 thankyou very much.

Those of you who brushed off Megan Foxxy - you're all nuts. That is all.

I can't say Fox does it for me at all. What little sex appeal she has is fake, which is a massive turn off for me.

I agree with Paulbot, Byrne would be a much better choice. A lot more attractive (I've see both IRL) & a better actor.

Megan Fox never HAD any sex appeal for me. Personal things aside, the attempts at sex appeal (e.g. opening 'Bee's car hood in the first film) were so forced and blatant that it rendered them more laughable than sexual.

I don't really know which actress I'd like to see in the next TF film, but I know that I'd like one who can act well, with CGI robots as well as with people. I want someone who I actually want to care about because of how they act in-character.

Don't get the Fox factor either, bring on Byrne.

Megan Fox is just like Habro's TF promo pics, she looks awesome with a little bit of photoshop, but then you see the reall thing and it's just not quite as nice as that first pic made it look.

Magda's got more acting talent than Fox does. :)

In the special features on the ROTF DVD, Michael Bay explains that he got the idea for having Fox gratituously leaning over the motorcycle after a conversation with some teenage kids he bumped into at a shop.

That is because she is not an actress (yet) she has done modeling for DKNY Jeans, Garnier, Levi's, Motorola, Urban Outfitters, LG Electronics and Victoria's Secret and appeared on the cover of Biba.

Depends on what kind of character she's playing. If the character has spoken lines and has significantly notable screen presence, then yes, I absolutely care about her ability to act. I can excuse crummy acting perhaps if her character isn't human, like with Alice. I thought Isabel Lucas' acting was rather ordinary, but since she was portraying an alien robot pretending to be human then I can suspend disbelief in her rather lacklustre delivery.
