WFC Gameplay Trailer and here.
Yeah but there were like 2 second scenes. The only one which I am sure to be 'play' footage was Bumblebee changing to car mode and shooting at stuff and maybe that Starscream flying around scene which was also just 2 seconds.
As good as that trailer was, there is nothing in there that truly gives us a feel of the gameplay.
It's a crime that these awesome designs are only going to end up as a select few toys :(
Suh-weet! It looks fantastic!!
Hopefully they will release some footage of someone actually playing the game for a period of time so we can get a feel of the gameplay.
Very nice, but need to see more.. MORE
And yes a shame there wont be too many toys made.
<insert fanboy girlesque squeal>:D
looks good, but i still wanna see alot more footage!
and add an octave for me!
I reckon that was gameplay footage fersure! Some of the bits looked like cutscenes rendered using the game engine (eg when Starscream flips around the landing bit).
Gametrailers have it listed as a 22 June release date as well. Amazon too, are the just copying or do they know for sure...
Yep, its official, I just wet my pants:o GO OMEGA!
On a side note, I hate the way that mos gamin sites use my precious download limit to advertise movie trailers and other bits of crap to me before the real goodies.
I just woke up and saw this at kotaku.
from what i can see gameplay parts are
-Optimus Prime transforms from alt to robot mode, he slides to the left a bit.
-aerial scene
-bumblebee transforms into alt mode
-bumblebee(?) strafing with 3 different scenes, 1 including omega supreme.
also, some of it could be considered timed button action sequences (like shenmue, bayonetta,)
but yeah i'm really looking foward to this game now.
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DI am excited:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I was looking at the screenshots here and noticed something. Check out Prime, Brawl and Soundwave's guns. Would have thought there'd be more originality in their designs.
There's not a lot of gameplay footage in the trailer, however it still looks pretty awesome... games have come so far nowadays that it's sometimes hard to differentiate between what is actual gameplay footage and what are rendered cutscenes.
There's speculation that a new Scorponok may make an appearance, along with a portable version for DS (with Grimlock & Jetfire appearing).
(Btw, Sleeve, check your PMs mate!)
Did I watch a different trailer? It seems to me that alot of the later footage in the trailer is gameplay footage. And from whazt I saw, HOLY HECK :eek:
here's some more info on the DS versionsQuote:

I think most of this new trailer are in-game rendered cutscenes in the same style as the ones you get in games when they want to add some narrative or introduce a boss fight. Kind of like the in-game scenes in Dragon Age Origins and Arkham Assylum. The previous trailers showed us pre-rendered cutscenes.
There is very little footage of someone actually 'controlling' the gameplay. The next phase should be to actually release some gameplay footage with someone playing through the first part of a mission.
Ah well, I thought most of it looked like gameplay footage. I could be wrong. We'll just have to see more soon, which I don't doubt, it is not long away to be released.
I really want this now :( Too bad I only have wii and ds :(
the wii version will be gimmicky with swinging the wiimote around to do everything... which i hope will have an alternate control method because i hate those type of games that force you to use up too much energy swinging it around stupidly for little accomplishment.
i play games cause i want to relax, not friggin tire out and end up not enjoying the game.
The DS version is once again by Vicarious Visions. I hated the first DS game the ROTF version was better but still a bit frustrating.
This new DS game will have an Autobot and Decepticon versions with 15 unlockable characters in each version and a player swapping system. Swapping characters out for others allows a character to regenerate health.
I hope they didn't dump regenerating while in vehicle mode.
The Wii version is by Next Level who made the Punch Out game.

Downloaded the new gameplay trailer to play on my TV... noooice...
The waiting is killing me :(
I would actually feel more comfortable if they take longer...
Let the release date be 'When its done'. However they do seem to have the game largely complete already and they have done an splendid job keeping it secret. I just hope they also have all the bugs sorted out and several successful test plays on multiple platforms. That gameplay trailer seem to lag in places.
When I say the wait is killing me, I too would also like them to take their time making this even if that means pushing back the release date. I was just saying that I eagerly anticipate it's release ;)
I would much prefer a great game than a half-arsed effort to cash in on the franchise between movies; and I think that it will be (a great game) as Hasbro are investing a lot of money in the tie-in merchandise and would not do that if the intent was to make a gap-filler.
Custom robots!
apparently we will get to make our own multiplayer robot though what I said on TFW2005 still stands
"Guys I don't want to rain on your parade BUT Creating is a term very loosely used in games you could "Create" your own DBZ characters in all the Budokai games but that didnt mean make your own characters appearance it simply meant you customize the moveset of the character. Im betting thats what High Noon meant"
sounds like a real create-a-bot mode, but we shall seeQuote:
and also create their own Transformers character for competitive head-to-head multiplayer modes, choosing among four distinct character classes, personalising its look and selecting from a huge variety of weapons, skills and abilities.
Sounds promising (from the above link)...

While some of this may sound too good to be true, the game is looking like it just might be the real deal. High Moon's approach is benefiting from no movie to tie in with and a respectable dose of geek love. The results we've seen so far seem to be paying off in the most promising Transformers game we've played in years. We're anxious to get our hands on it, especially the online multiplayer, to see if it plays as good as it looks. Look for more on Transformers: War for Cybertron in the weeks to come. The game is scheduled to ship on the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 later this year, with Wii and DS versions of the game, from Next Level and Vicarious Visions, respectively, hitting at the same time.
All we need to hear now is that the game designer's are fanatical (or at least, in the closet) TF fans and our minds will be put at ease. :pQuote:
