WHAT???!!! now that just pisses me off i really want season 3 how else are we meant to watch it it now other than through youtube :mad:
we need to make a petition or something im sure they wouldnt listen anyway but it might be worth a try
hopefully they do release a combined boxset though. I didnt buy the first two coz Im hoping for a combined set instead.... oh please please...
*is mad* thats just not fair.. They're just asking for people to illegally download it. Which is stupid, because then they'll be losing a heap of money. Grr.

That is kinda strange. Usually a DVD release of a show is how they make a large profit from little production investment... Was it really that unpopular? :rolleyes:
I have a feeling a dvd box set is on its way.
Surely there's a market for this kind of thing? As much as I didn't like Animated even I'd be tempted to buy season 3.
From what I have heard, they can't release it because they no longer have the rights since they (Hasbro) merged with the Discovery Channel.
Even though this news is disappointing, I'm not surprised at all.

Bad news indeed. My S1&2 DVd's will be sitting here lonely and incomplete. Like a combiner with only 3 members. It was a spectacular season as well. Darn it.

Considering that the license for Animated is currently held by Paramount, it would be quite impossible for Madman to release it any time soon. :(

I'll have to find out who the equivalent AUS company is for the TFs DVD license, if Paramount AUS no longer has it as well as Paramount US.
Even if Paramount AUS is still allowed to release DVDs in the absence of a new license holder, I can't see them getting all the way through the Animated series. I think they got up to episode 24 (six volumes so far released), leaving about 20 more to go (another 5 volumes).

I would like the DVD, just to complete my set personally. Its nice to have official version IMO. Even though I guess, since there is no distributor, then no-one can really complain about dling episodes can they?
