Seriously guys, death is one of the broadest concepts in existence. Even just as a 'character', there's Terry Pratchett's Death, Neil Gaiman's DC Death, Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's combined Death from Good Omens, Jim Starlin's Marvel Comics' Death and Marvel's Archangel, Wolverine, Gambit, Erik The Red have all been Death, and Chaucer wrote about Death in the Canterbury Tales. Death's even a regular in Family Guy.
