Disciples of Boltax via TFW2005 has released an image from the upcoming Animated Almanac showing a resin prototype of an awesome-looking now-never-to-be-released TFA triple-changing Megatron mold.:(
Hot damn that looks sweet, the more that comes out about the plans for TFA S4 the more sad I am it got canned.
hey same thing they said about TFA hotrod/rodimus and ironhide, so make that frown upside down and hope for the best its too early to tell.

Perhaps it was too damn awesome for mere humans to handle so they canned it. So disappointing :(

The transformation looks like a back-to-front version of the Leader's, with the front becoming the legs and the cannon/wing edges becoming the arms.
I'm not sure I like the face mask, but damn if that isn't an awesome looking toy. Remind me, why did Animated have to be cancelled in favour of robot testicles?

Loving the shredder/BM Megatron face plate, it actually suits the toy, and would have suited the character too...
Just add a few more modes and make it an Animated Sixshot I reckon.

I don't really care one way or the other since Season Four never happened anyway - so it's a moot point for me. It's like the prototype Godbomber toy... yeah, it looks sweet, but it was never produced and the anime and manga based their model on the toy that was actually released anyway.
that does look very cool, you never know they might produce this for another line like TF/TMNT crossover ;)
What a shame! Apart from the missile launchers looking too big in robot mode it's just about perfect.
