Anyone here collect this? Just curious with the size
They're all about the 14 to 15cm range. Close in scale to 6inch scale figures. The articulation is crazy though, really cool set of figures.
they look really good but have little accessories and are quite expensive. i really did want to collect these toys but without watching and enjoying the various series its hard to commit to collecting these.
I however do watch One Piece and will be getting the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Monkey D. Luffy & Portgas D. Ace.

Awsome! I remember watching these guy beat up on monsters when I was a kid too.
How would you rate these? I'm thinking of getting some myself now.

I'm a bit over One Piece these days though, they milked it to long.
well IMO 10/10:D the simplicity and proportion and articulation is excellent combine together makes it a well made action figure its between size of marvel legends figures and gi joe 3 inch figures i think its about 145mm in height up to masked rider black's antenna, again i only bought this figure for nostalgic reasons but didnt realise its better than what i have expected. I have to even say they are way better than revoltech figures :pQuote:

but I really like it and want to get some more S.H. Figuarts, but they are so expensive that i probably wont be getting that many more
They come with just enough acceseories (whereas the SIC figures come with far too many accesories) they look great and they are really posable, i say if you are interested in Kamen rider (or DBZ One Piece or whatever other series they do) then S.H. Figuats are probably the best figures you can get (though they are a little expensive)

I've never actually seen any of the shows though, so I really have no idea what they're about, only that they make pretty bugmen :o
Anyway, I'm kind of excited,as I finally caved and ordered Gatack, TheBee and Kabuto. :D Don't hate!
I used to buy the predeccesors of Figuarts... the Souchaku series so since that's ended I've moved on to Figuarts. Only have a few of them but they are gorgeous and if you can afford them and you like the series they are based on, you should buy them.

Congratualtions! G3 is an awesome... which I totally skipped cos I have G3-X. And before anyone says it is a totally different toy, I know! I just didn't want the G3 unit.
It's terrible though cause now there are so many I've missed that I now want!
Kabuto for instance which isn't just sold out, it's presoldout too! Gah!
I also have gills, and am figuring out his articulation!
Do you want an Agito Ground Form? I have a spare... MIB.
Also, both Gills and Exceed Gills were the first figuarts (I think) to have the multi-jointed upper thigh to allow for his over the head kick. It is awesome but very hard to mimic in your first few tries. LOL
Overall, I love this series of KR figures, that is why I still collect them.

While his 'Hyper Clock Up' form is kinda loose, Hyper Form Kabuto is an awesome figure. In fact, for the moment, he is the BEST Figuarts Kamen Rider to me, surpassing the 555 Figuart which I tot was the best up to that point.

Anyone here collect the SIC range of Kamen Riders? I personally feel that that beats the figuarts in terms of design... playability would be a different story altogether.
I don't collect SIC but know someone who does. SIC looks awesome... most of the time, stuff like Decade - Complete Form looked waaaaay too busy and bulky.
To tell you the truth, I prefer the SIC designs for the Showa Riders over the Heisei Riders, except maybe ZO and Agito (yes, ZO is technically Heisei). And playability-wise, I agree that SIC is not as playable and more of a 'pose-on-table-top' series but the Tamashii SIC stuff is very playable though a lot smaller (and thus cheaper) in scale.
SIC KRs have a better alternative appearance... normally rather evil looking. Great to display them. Figuarts are true to the actual character designs on the show. How's the Tamashii SIC quality wise?

yeah i know - its a very competitive market. i was tempted by the figma versions previously because of all the characters but the figuarts accessories just look so great for playing/displaying. im interested to see what they will do with the other characters (if they do) just wish my budget could handle so many different toylines...Quote:
