i have just d/l firefox
lol ie.
i use firefox and google chrome
Yeah, grew up on Internet Explorer and grew to hate it too. :p
I too use Firefox, it's quick, it's compatible, it's reliable and it's pretty darn customisable too. :)
Netscape Navigator was the earliest web browser I can recall using
i just clicked the link to my hotmail using firefox but it made me sign in, never happened with ie
I used to be a big Firefox fan but then it went through and update and it turned as slow as a snail and super crap in general - I hoped they would fix it but months passed and nothing. I now use chrome but I can't say that I am a fan.
Always used IE, but now I have IE9, everything else is irrelevant. Behold the new standard that all the rest can only dream they can be.
Firefox was always slow and bloated, even under linux. :p
I use Firefox, mostly for Biblefox.:D
I use IE for general browsing (as its quicker), but use Firefox for browsing and saving FLV files (and for any websites that don't like IE).
Can't really remember using IE much except for website testing! Firefox is my fav - it's fast and I like how you can custom it. Not sure about quick browsing in IE, doesn't seem to work for me. Google Chrome is pretty good too.
The only down side about Firefox and Google Chrome is that I can't upload photos to Photobucket or Facebook in office thru the Firewall and only IE allows it!
I prefer Firefox (only use IE for testing at work).
I find Firefox generally seems more compliant with web dev standards.
WebKit (used in Chrome, Safari, and more) is the best rendering engine (in speed and compliance). Gecko (used by Firefox) is a close second, with Microsoft, as always, languishing behind.
If I'm using Windows, I'll use Chrome, Firefox on Linux, and Safari on OS X.
I have so much love for Firefox's add-ons. Like NoScript. NoScript kills ads dead. Oh how I love Firefox add-ons. X3
Opera represent. :)
I use IE occasionally, but Opera has been my preferred browser for about 5 years.
i like to roam african planes in search of wild animals
Used to think Firefox was the best but then started using Chrome and have never turned back.
chrome for me
google chrome
just a word of caution, DO NOT use IE9 Beta. You have no way of uninstalling (well, there is but don't bother!)
IE8 & Chrome
Firefox is getting clunkier
Yeah, Personas to me was the final demonstration that Firefox had become the antithesis of what it once was; it became the bloated pig it sought to replace.
I suspect she has a proxy requiring NTLM authentication.
Netscape Navigator was awesome. IE at the time was miles behind, then Navigator just got slack and went bye byes.
I use Firefox, yeah, there are times it can be sluggish, but so can IE. FF I feel handles tabs better AND there's the add-ins. That's a major plus for (ad-block, download manager, language translation)
just installed google chrome see how it goes
bloody ie kept signing me out of hotmail:mad:
at the end of the day, there's not a perfect browser yet
