That Kup looks too ridiculously awesome.
Umm... okay then. Why are the Decepticons translucent whilst the Autobots aren't? :confused:
I was almost tempted to order the set until I saw that the Autobots didn't continue the whole clear theme...:(

I believe that the Decepticons are clear because they represent the 'morphing' that we saw in Transformers: The Movie when Unicron turned Megatron into Galvatron and in turn Scourge and Cyclonus.Quote:

That was my first thought. Zero interest in the blue/green version of Hot Rod. Kup looks nice but I'll wait for the regular United version. (Surely they could have had this battle damaged Kup missing an arm and leg so Hot Rod could fix him... ;) ). The reformatting Decepticons is a nice gimmick but not enought to buy more of those toys. They need a United Bombshell for you to be able to set up the transformation scene in your display anyway :pQuote:

I'm not sure why they chose to give Rodimus a solid green chest. If they kept the figure just different shades of blue it might have looked a bit closer to the final featureless shot of the reformatting Rodimus Prime from TFTM.

The figures all look awesome, but have never been a fan of Translucent figures, so it's an easy pass for me too! :p
But that Kup really just looks "evil" in a good way.
Hot Rod's colours remind of the G2 Sparkabots/Firecons... which is not a good thing. :p
I was thinking 'Yeah might have to get these' but now looking at the pics, the only ones I want is just Kup and the Junkion.
I was just looking at the packaging pics and only just noticed (:o) that both boxes combine to show a pic of a face in the background.
Can someone enlighten me as to who's head that belongs to? Is it meant to be Unicron? :confused:

I would have thought Unicron would have been more befitting...seeing as he created these Cons (hence the reformatting redeco) and was in the final battle scene with the Bots (where Hot Rod is bathed in the glow of the Matrix)
From the movie, it's really only appropriate for Hot Rod and Kup. But it's arguably suitable for Transformers 2010 as an entire series franchise, since the Quintessons do interact (or at least appear) with all those toys in some way or another.Quote:

I was just thinking (uh oh)...It would be pretty cool to display the three 'mid-reformatting' Decepticons in front of the new Takara Unicron! Must...Somehow...Resist. I feel like that space ship at the start of the '86 movie that tries to esape but no matter how hard it tries to pull away, it gets sucked in and destroyed. Or maybe that would be a better analogy for my wallet. :p
