awesome. i'll be able to complete the seekers! without need of exclusives or knockoffs :)
Wow if the news is accurate... they actually did it. And there were those that swore that it would never get released under Hasbro. I will def go by my word and pick up one atleast... although I do have the KO Henkei one already.
It had better be in Action Master colours...
Ofcourse it is...

... in your dreams!!!
.
This is great news, if it wasn't just pure speculation at the moment - No pics or Official word causes me concern... :(
It's realistic enough. According to BBTS the 4 pack wave consists of Scourge, Sergeant Kup, Thundercracker and Wheeljack. Wheeljack is another new announcement.
Some are speculating that maybe Thundercracker is a War for Cybertron mold. But you'd think they would release Starscream first.
I hope we see a regular TC and them Sky Shadow's favourite eyesore in a later wave (a repaint with some meaning).
Thought this might happen once Dirge was released. Great news!
*Does Toy dance of Joy*
Here's hoping it's the classic seeker mold in blue with some nice red touches (Maybe even a thunderbolt decal or two?) Apologies to fans of the Action master colours.
Well it about time!
Good news for those that are after a Generations Thundercracker to complete their set. I missed out on Skywarp and would love to see them reissue him on his own so I don't have to pay inflated prices on eBay for a toy that's not even MISB (no interest in Magnus).
Having said that though, I'm satisfied owning the RM versions of Thundercracker and Skywarp.
I hope it is true, I really would like a Classics TC to go with my original G1 and MP versions.
This is great news to all out there. I have a Henkei TC, but would certainly be buying one of these too (cos he's my second favourite seeker).
For the second time in history, I really hope that they do him in the cartoon shade of blue which they have done for the TC RobotMasters release.
If it's just a redeco of the Classics mold (which seems the most likely) I'd like him coloured like Armada Thundercracker. Or Actionmaster colours.
Well, I'm wrong. It's G1 TC all the way. Congrats to everyone who wants him!
I can't but help wonder if the rise of the KOs would have assisted Hasbro in breaking their agreement (or agreeing to a new one) with FunPub regarding this figure. It's certainly doesn't look very different to the FunPub one.
F@#$ Yeah!
This is awesome, awesome confirmation for those who don't have crazy Henkei/Botcon budgets with regards to Thundercracker - Finally I'll be able to have all the Seekers in Classicsverse form!
Oh Happy Day!
Oh, Wheeljack looks Transorgasmic too! :p
Something tells me this entire wave will be in high demand! :p
Congrats to those that don't already have TC... I'll be grabbing him too even though I already have the Henkei version :D
(Just saw jay's post)
TC looks pretty good although somewhat darker shade of blue.
Def will pick him up!
Kinda suprised they didn't go with the cartoon light blue.
Good news tho. :D
I find it funny that people in that seibertron news post are upset about just buying the KO thundercracker... and some even complaining that Hasbro didn't give them enough notice about it to prevent them from buying the KO.
Even if there was some sort of agreement of exclusivity, it is Hasbro's prerogative as the property owner to produce any item it sees fit, at any time. FunPub essentially 'beg' Hasbro to produce these toys, so they won't risk cutting themselves from the source by complaining about it.
We've also seen other exclusives appear at sources other than their initial store (like the TF1 Target Scouts, SDCC Alternators, etc) and those stores still 'beg' for more - there were probably disclaimers or jurisdiction issues that allows Hasbro to re-release or redeco any figure at any time. Hasbro owns the moulds, the characters and all associated concepts (like colour schemes), so can do anything they want.
And even if this one was the exact same deco as the BotCon one, it will be almost 4 years since that earlier one, so I think it's been enough time for people to not be as upset about it, as those collectors will have had 4 years of 'elitism', and the toys will still be worth a lot as BotCon exclusives.
Yay!!!! Yay for it being Straight-up no crazy AM colours not WFC but G1 Thundercracker!! Thank you Toy Jesus!!!
...now if we could just have a Generations Arcee please?
...oh and Blitzwing?
Wow. Almost never do I want an entire wave, but I can't say no to any of Thundercracker, Scourge, Wheeljack or Kup!
One can never have too many Thundercrackers, I'm in.
Looks like they did the same thing that BotCon did and gave Thundercracker a 'medium' blue. Not as light as the cartoon, but not as dark as the original G1 toy and Marvel comics. So it's like a compromise to appease both groups of fans, which I think works well. :)
+1 :)
I already have Gentei Thundercracker, but I'll pick up a RtS Thundercracker too. :D Scourge's wings look a bit weird -- but that's just my G1 fanboy bias kicking in. Objectively speaking Scourge's alt mode looks a lot better than G1 Scourge's since it's clearly meant to be a bomber jet (whereas G1 Scourge's alt mode seriously looks like a boat! :P)
<Sigh> I hate the universe right now. :(
