What are we fellow OTCAian members doing on for this fine day?
I'm probably just going to lie prone and hug Australian soil for a good day or so.

Working..... at least im paid extra:D
Yeah, same as Hursty. It's going to be 42 out my way so I'm dropping the blast shields (block-out shutters) early and kicking back with a beer while watching... who cares I'll probably be wasted :p (drink responsibly kids)
Cleaning the house, playing PSP and avoiding dickheads like this by not going anywhere near the Perth foreshore!
drinking goon straight from the bladder and sleeping in
May be going to a friends house for a barbeque in the evening.
Otherwise nothing. I'm considering watching all of the original Star Wars trilogy sequentially but I'm up watching football for another few hours tonight and will probably be up a bit late for that.
I don't like those racist people as well but isn't this video mocking them? There is the part where he talks about how people buy cheap Australian flags but sneaks in the 'Made in China' part. By the way anyone know a place where I can buy an Aussie-made Australian flag?
"I like your flag. It looks like Britain at night." - Jerry Seinfeld
Yeah, absolutely. The whole video is a satire, but it's funny how some of the youtube posters don't get the irony... It's just waaaay over their heads!
Lol - that's a little funny :D
I'm having a quiet day at home with my g/f - watching tennis, cleaning my toy room, and then going to work tonight.
Happy Aussie Aussie Aussie Day everyone!! :)
I'd much rather see something like this for the Australian flag:

Anyway, just finished watching Oz Concert on SBS which showcased a wide variety of different songs and dances from various different cultures in Australia - saw stuff like Aboriginal dancing, Latino dancing, Greek dancing, Irish river dancing, Scottish bagpipes and Highland dancing, Chinese dancing, African Berundi dancing etc. etc. -- finished off with all the performers returning to the stage while a children's choir and three adult performers sang Waltzing Matilda.
Spent most of the day moving into my new townhouse. I learnt two things.
1 - I have a lot of TF's
2 - I have a lot of DVD's
Didn't do any celebrations because unfortunately with council amalgamations a few years back they decided to hold the "local" celebrations an hour away. :(
I understood the satire so I found the video pretty funny.
I think I left it too late, the will to go to my friends house is very quickly draining from me.
He lives 40 minutes away... it takes me 20 minutes to get ready... 20 minute detour to open shops to get food...
Bugger it.
It was one of my good friend's birthday today, so I went for a bike ride with him at Bicenntenial Park (yes, in the boiling heat). Afterwards we had lunch, and the three of us (including my wife) had a game of Puerto Rico together.
well now there was plenty of "rowdy" celebrators:D on the train stations /trains, cape flags, face paints and sunburnt as heck hehehehehe:p:D it was an interesting and freaking HOOOOOOT train ride back home:(:(
Spent the day on the lounge letting my leg heal which sucked because my neighbours and some friends had a beach party. I decided not to go because I know I wouldn't of been able to keep out of the surf and would of ended up doing even more damage to my already damaged leg.
Too hot for a BBQ (mates place has no shade near the bbq, could have cooked the steaks on the concrete!) so stayed indoors with air-condition cooled beers, and watched Michael Clarke further prove he needs to be dropped from the Aussie squad.
Also watched Machete, some very inventive kills!
Well, I decided to take a 5Km walk over to my mate's place to have a max of 4 beers, gotta watch my figure :p, and to celebrate Australia Day - I waited until 6:30pm to leave hoping for a reduced temperature, it sort of worked. :D
Anyhoo, I got there and was promptly told that my mate was going to do a Burnout, as he is quite a Rev-Head with quite a bit of experience under his belt and hasn't done one in quite some time ;), to which I naturally assumed he was going to roll out his old Toyota T18 and do it in the street...
How wrong I was! :p:D
The highlight of my day.
I just stayed inside all day trying to keep cool. I thought that it was as hot as it's going to get around 1 PM when the temperature started to dive. How wrong I was. Hello 40 degrees at 6 PM
Went to bondi late afternoon. Didn't know the parking rates were different on different streets :( - just overpaid but it was good. Although there were lots of people, the water was still great. Had allergies later on though.
Not kidding ay. I spent most of the day in my computer room with it on so I could sort all my Transformers out finally. How dumb was that. Was like a friggin sawna in there. Went over to the in-laws for BBQ dinner, was damn hot outside, so we stayed inside in the A/C lol.
One thing good about the heat yesterday, any washing I put on the line dried in like half an hour :p
a Quiet one for me, i just went over to sylvania for a hamburger from my fav hamburger shop with the missus and then that was it really.....
