It sounds way too cutesy to be something for the mainline... so my guess is something for the younger demographic, like Rescue Bots.

Sounds more like what you put on a babies bum.

I'm thinking Hasbro is dropping us a clue in their trademark registration. They are having a laugh at Takara Tomy's (TT) expense. BOTBOTS is an anagram for TT BOOBS.

This makes me think of a neopets thing I saw once called a petpet, basically a pet for your neopet. So maybe a botbot is a line of baby transformers and/or pets for normal transformers?

They could be covering their backs

If it’s not Transformers Tsum Tsums, rescuebot versions of tiny turbo changers or AltModes.

Megatron and the dcons are gong to get their botbots smacked for being bad robots!
