Sweet. I couldn't find the pic of BW Megs face to face with G1 Optimus, but if we take this pic:
http://images.wikia.com/transformers..._Soundwave.jpg
And the assumption BW bots are about 2m tall on average, then the upgrade to protoform bodies basically halved (or a bit more) the Transformers in size?
Aaron F Bourque's Transformers Height Index should give you a good idea of relative heights in feet. If someone wants to convert it to metres, go right ahead! http://transformers.narod.ru/texts/thi.htm
The above link includes Beast Wars characters, just for G1 characters (and in metres too see below):

@Sky Shadow: That's awesome SS, very interesting indeed and these numbers seem a little bit more on the money to me too. ;):)
LOL @ Unicron's height! :p:D
That's the kind of site I'm looking for! Cheers Sky Shadow!
This site lists the heights of Beast Wars characters; it all comes from official sources too (i.e. BW trading cards).
I'm not enjoying those numbers, Gok. I know their 'official', but 4.5m for someone like Magmatron? 3.2m for Big Convoy and 5.5m for Magnaboas? When Tigerhawk comes in at 7m. The combines should be way bigger, verging on close to an smaller G1 figure around 8 or so.
With regards to figures that were repaints in Beast Wars, i.e. Cheetor/Tigatron - Waspinator/Buzzsaw or Tarantulas/Blackarachnia, did said figures receive individualised instruction sheets or did they simply have their contemporary's instructions included?
In the US versions, the instructions were just on the back of the package (and were different, in that they called Cheetor a cheetah and Tigatron a tiger, [wasp/bee, etc.]) Since we never got the 'repainted' deluxe wave at all, I don't know if there was a specific European instruction sheet for that wave or not. Sorry! (By the way, Hursti, I shipped your rocks on Friday, so hopefully they should arrive early next week.)
