BigW super sale for Transformers Titans Return (July 5-18)

(EDIT by griffin - Titans Return toys are in the next BigW catalogue, dated July 5th to 18th, but stores are already getting in stock this week at the advertised "sale" prices, so these might actually be regular prices until they are sold out. These awesome prices are only for the older Titans Return toys, not for the current POTP toys.)



They've just added some REALLY CHEAP Titan Returns figures to their shelves.

I bet Perth won’t get any Slugslingers as of course that’s the only one I want.

Excellent prices, and might explain why there’s been no potp figures readily available, that way people cannot get the two all but The same things confused...

Our main Big Dizz was super lame today. :(

This for me is bittersweet. I've wanted a Seaspray and Cosmos for the longest time and had given up on the prospect of seeing them on retail. I'd love to get my hands on them for $5. Problem is, if I go hunting for them tomorrow they might now be on shelves yet, if I wait, they might be sold out. I could order them online, but the figures are chosen at random, and there's a risk that they might just give me another Brawn or Roadburn that had been peg-warning since last year. First world problems eh? :p

Same voyagers and legends being put on the shelf at South Yarra Big W tonight. At least four each of Cosmos and Seaspray right now.

Penritg big W has a very small amount of TFs so i doubt i will see them. Bummer as i want Seaspray and probably a Hardhead at $10

I now know where to look first tomorrow.

None at Eastland or Doncaster.

Doncaster said they have another big delivery on the 4th. Eastland had dismantled two cardboard squares in the main aisle so they may be replacing one with a TF one overnight.

Don't forget people, this is for the catalogue that comes out on Thursday, so not all stores are going to get their stock in today... or tomorrow. So don't panic yet if you don't find them.

Judging by the stores that got the stock first, there must be a lot of stock out there, and some stores are getting in a lot of each size-class.

No TR Ramhorn then. :(

When you say "people" I hope you're referring to people from every state because I had given up on Cosmos and Seaspray due to Hasbro's policy of letting the straggler products go to their most important markets.

Anyone want a Titans Return Blitzwing. Just want the $15+ postage. Didn't pick anyone else up sorry, I'll admit my first thought was custom Flywheels but other stuff has come up and my last 'custom' was a few silver highlights.

Managed to get Sea Spray, Cosmos and Blitzwing from Eastland Mall in Ringwood.

Did Eastland have a heap like Robinah or not much?

Not in heaps but much better than other places. Price tag shows as $24 for Deluxe figures but scans $10 and $5 for the legends.

Will go by on the way home from my son's footy in the morning and keep my fingers crossed.

You guys reckon TR Overload will be out for this sale?

Would be cool. Seems anything is possible at this point. Mountains of Seaspray, Cosmos, Blitzwing and Octane, TR Ramhorn showing up. Would be cool, just have to wait and see. Though Ollies in the US have mountains of him for dirt cheap

Unfortunately, Overlord is not expected to make it to Australia, so is unlikely to be found at this sale.
Disclaimer - this was it's status at the beginning of the year... there is always a RARE possibility of Australia having old stock dumped here cheap if the US or Asia can't sell theirs. But don't hold out expecting it to come here if you can find a foreign source, or the Japanese version which is still in stock at HLJ.

As of this morning Doncaster had one of each legend and Slugslinger. Eastland had two of each legend and two of each leader.

Lilydale has a whole panel at the front door full of the leaders, and a whole panel of legends and deluxes. Probably as much as Robinah.

I've checked 5 Big Ws... no Seaspray.

I did grab two OpOp for two members here, though. So that was a win.

I was across at Doncaster half an hour ago. They have 10 boxes of Leader class 2 packs and 8 boxes of Legends on a pallet. One of the leader boxes was open and had Blitzwing and Octane.

Looks like they will be put out tonight.

Yeah I checked there and Hurstville yesterday. I also wanted a Seaspray. No luck. I also checked Menai, Miranda & Bankstown on Saturday. No luck.

They're starting to appear in NSW now so check again NSW guys.

If anyone happens to spot a breakaway or two among those $10 TR deluxes let me know, still chasing some.

There are stacks in Macquarie NSW. The usual toy section has the Voyagers (and a single, PotP Grimlock, sadly still at $45).

The Titans Returns toys are at the front of the store, with HEAPS of Legends (Cosmos and Seaspray) by the manned checkouts, and the rest (Voyager Blitzwing and Octone, Deluxe Twinferno, Triggerhappy, Krok) in front of self-service.

Sorry slightly off topic, but can somebody who buys a Blitzwing tell me whether theirs has an instruction sheet? Mine seems to be missing it. Nothing I can't figure out on my own or Google, but seems odd.

Maybe that's why it's so cheap?

Saw a post on the Ozbargains website about this sale that noted there was a rumour that the cases were meant for Toys R Us. Don't think the timelines match up - but then I don't think I ever saw these voyagers at TRU...

I wonder if this is just a batch thing, but yesterday I looked at 7 Octanes and 5 had their insignias about 10-15 degrees to the left. Bit of a shame but for $15 I wouldn't be complaining.

I did notice one Seaspray's foot was torn by the plastic wired used to fix it onto the bubble. Haven't opened mine yet but I guess the plastic is pretty soft/cheap(?).
