Considering the release date of the Hasbro version has also been pushed back, it could be assumes that it was move on TT's part to manufacture alongside the Hasbro version and sell some more units of the JP release.

Would've jumped that this but my main reason for getting the Takara version has expired.

I don't know if this is actually helpful to anyone here. Amiami's rerelease sold out already.

I preordered this just in case I don't get the TRU one. And also because I like the red visor better

Doubt a retailer will hold popular stock and wait. The worst if the stock ends up being unpopular and dead. Storage space is critical in a store so if retailer can release and sell they would.
But with this 2nd run eBay pricing will surely come down
