Hound and Magnus look pretty boss 👍🏻
From those glimpses, I get the feeling that fans are going to be upset to learn the Micromaster patrols aren't four member teams... but we'll learn soon enough I guess.
Bah how do i make seibertron forums work on phone?
Hopefully someone films the clip and posts it online somewhere, or Hasbro does..... as I couldn't find it on youtube yet, and I'm really surprised one of the fansites didn't jump on being the first with it.
You ask and it shall be done :)

That ultra Magnus looks awesome
Thankyou :)
Ultra Magnus may be the same one that was reported back in 2015 from an inside source, which got replaced with the IDW MTMTE version we got.
Optimus looks great in the commercial, but he looks not very good in the CGI shots and truck mode is pretty appalling. Not a fan of the battle damage either, and a lack of a Takara option kind of worsens that, since brand unity and all that.
Apparently the Micromasters appear to be replacing the legends class size for this line completely, which isn't the worst considering Hasbro made all the minibots (except Bumper) in legends form, but it means we're probably going to have to wait a while for easy repaints Frenzy and Eject. Two packs could also mean we get some more of the animal cassettes as with Ramhorn and Overkill/Overboard, such as Ratbat and Slugfest.
The rest I'll skip, since I'm planning on getting the United Autobots (Hound, Ironhide, Mirage) set at some point. Looks like it'll be not as much spending on this line unless they hit us with Shockwave, which is always good on the wallet.
Going to ask a silly question, what is a Weaponizer? And who is that meant to be?
We'll find out officially over the weekend, I think maybe the Hasbro panel is tomorrow. From the video though, a Weaponizer is a robot that splits into armor and guns for the other characters to use.
The main gimmick of the Siege line is weapons/armor attaching to the deluxes and voyagers - the legion size guys are Targetmasters, the Micromasters combine to become guns, and the Weaponizers become guns and armor.
The character shown is Cog, the combined form of Fortress Maximus's small partner robots. and listings on Amazon suggest there's a Sixgun coming who'll likely also be a Weaponizer.
A lot of these look nice; the Hound and Ultra Magnus especially. I don't actually have a Neo-G1 Classics (or "CHUG") Hound, so I'll likely look for that one when it's out.
Not really feeling the Micromasters. I was never a big fan of them. If they do the Constructor Combiner Squad, I might get it since that was what I had when I was a kid.
They haven't shown any Decepticons yet. If we can get a Voyager G1 Soundwave, I'd be all over it like ants on honey.
I'm mad into that Ultra Magnus.
I'm also enjoying the way that Cog becomes heavy firepower.
That Magnus could make a great Thunderclash too. Loving Cog and the Micros too. Dunno about the rest, feel they’d have to be great to replace my current iterations.
I'm interested in about only half of these - I'm happy with previous versions of most of these characters.
Am interested in the micromasters, a better looking deluxe Ironhide and Ultra Magnus (although logically I shouldn't, because I like my fans project-enhanced CW Ultra Magnus).
I'm digging that Cog, and the Micromasters as a line look like there could be some promise there.
Here's some pictures of the actual toys on display. (well at least hand painted prototypes)

I think I'll pass on Hound, Ultra Magnus and Sideswipe as I have previous versions I'm happy with. Optimus is a maybe that could become a definite if there's a good Megatron to go along with him. Chromia I'll have to think about as Legends Chromia while not G1 accurate is still very awesome. The rest are all must buys for me.
Also nice to see a CR inspired alt mode for Ultra Magnus even if I'm not getting him.
The big standout for me from those pictures is the amount of detail in the mould. Especially on Ultra Magnus there is barely a square centimetre without a groove or raised bit on the surface.
The big stand out for me is the Ironhide because it means Ratchet, which can go with my PotP Grimlock. An affordable Generations Ratchet instead of the hard to get CW one.
Ironhide looks great and would look even better as Ratchet. Frenzy is packaged with a gimmick toy. God damn.
Any news of whether they'll release Cybertronian 'tetrajet' Seekers for this line? One of the panel slides at TFW2005 shows them drawn with the confirmed figures.
What a mixed bag. Even individual bots swing from awesome to what the just by transforming.
Do I really need another Prime and Magnus? I worked hard to get a CHUG Ironhide but I am scared to play with him. Likewise the Lambos. This is potentially a solution. And it gets me a Hound. But those aggressively exxxxtreeem alt models...
But this might be one where we will have to see them in hand.
I just had a look. If you're referring to the Seekers in the background of the hand drawn art slide I wouldn't bet my house on them showing up.
While there were Seekers listed in the Amazon leak we have no idea if they are CHUG, Cyberverse or Bayverse but the Seekers are a Voyagerish price point so probably a 50% chance.
We need to remember, that like recent homages (Headmasters, Pretenders, and Powermasters), we won't see all of the Micromasters and Targetmasters done... this is just enough for the fans to get excited about getting a homage done of that Gen1 concept, but not too much to make retailers nervous and not want to risk clogging their shelves with too much of the one thing.
It will suck not getting full Gen1 sets, but it is nice to see the gen1 look to the toys, and to have a gimmick that doesn't ruin the toys too much, but is there to be able to sell them to the retailers.
At least as we saw with Combiners in POTP they are willing to bring back a concept from recent years and give us more characters with that gimmick.
My real complaint with the Micromasters is they are doing half of the 4 bot team. Grant it they could do some Amazon or con exclusives later in the line to fill out the full teams but as far as we know at the moment we are only getting half of each 1989 team.

My only real complaint after a quick look is Hound's windscreen being green.
Shut up and take my money!
Also apparently this Ultra Magnus is the first official toy since his '86 debut to feature his Armour being removable.
Sideswipe, Cog, Lionizer & the Micro Masters are a must. Optimus yeah as I get all releases. UM, Ironhide, Hound only if cheap as I prefer the Classic versions. Chromia I'm a little disappointed with as it looks like just a remould of the current fembots. I'll stick with the Generations one.
Silly question though, are the Micro Masters only coming in 2 packs or the G1 4 packs?
Interesting.....
I like the Micromasters, though I wish they had elbow joints, and that they gave us some Cons!
I'm not really digging the boxy aesthetic on the other guys, although it does look like waist articulation may be back for Deluxe class, that would be nice.
I notice some have seats which looks like they are for Titanmasters or whatever they are called now, I wonder if the Micromasters can fit in. I'm guessing not but it would be cool if a Micromaster could drive Hound like one of the old Micromaster vehicle sets.
I have to say I'm liking the look of these guys, especially if they have a bit of weathering on them as they appear to in the official images.
they look pretty cool, especially the ultra magnus bot mode.
also some of those deluxe figures actually seem to have solid legs and arms, not just hollow everywhere
Just realised that this with this range line up there’s no place for a Legend class Flystrike and Warwheels that combine into Flywheels. :(
