There might be some filming done in Cuba, and possibly some more cast members.
I've got to agree, there are problems with the plots, they can be a little disjointed especially #2 but overall I've not had any issues with following what's going on.
I do also feel that they aren't on the same level as the MCU movie plots especially when considering characterisation.
On a related note, a Trademark application has been found for "Transformers The Last Knight" as a video game... so expect another game tie-in next year... and for those without the PS4 or XB1 game consoles, it might be time to upgrade again, as I'd be surprised if they have a PS3 or XBox360 version this time.
:(
Bay posted the first shot from filming in Cuba yesterday.

I like classic cars, but I don't think they have a place in a TF movie that is supposed to be set in space!
The 'teasers' Bay is giving are so disjointed... *sigh*
Not a huge fan of the colour of the teaser vehicle...
REALLY hoping we're not going to get flashbacks to the 1950's/60's or some Back to the Future storyline.
Don't get me wrong - I LOVE BTTF but it's already been done expertly before.
The classic cars are as close as you are going to get for a modern car in cuba
Josh Duhamel has made a very brief comment on his return to Transformers... and the social media marketing for TF5 has started, with both twitter and instagram letting us know that something is coming on May 31st.
A short instagram from Michael Bay from Cuba... it could be something to do with the movie, or just him making sure that people know that he is currently in Cuba for the TFs movie.
Megatrons back
http://news.tfw2005.com/2016/05/31/f...egatron-316313
Not surprising, as the name Megatron is more recognised by the general public than the name Galvatron. (just like in the Unicron Trilogy, with Galvatron becoming Megatron again in each next series)
Hopefully they can explain that away well, I hate it when 'killed' characters come back just because. There are enough examples of that in Transformers already.
I just hope that the Decepticons actually transform properly, and not just rebuild themselves as flying Lego blocks.
I think a more precise criticism would be 'the plot did not make any narrative sense and the film editing was all over the place'.
One can certainly understand what is happening in any particular scene (as ridiculous and immersion breaking as it may be) but as a whole, it doesn't make any sense as there is no care in the editing to tell a coherent story regardless of simplicity.
Sir Anthony Hopkins joins the cast

I initially thought, "Ooh, he wouldn't sign up to a bad movie!"
And then I remembered other distinguished actors like John Turturro, Frances McDormand and Stanley Tucci
But hey, let's see where this goes :)
Bumblebees alt mode revealed

Will he be a voice or actually acting?
I can see him as Alpha Trion or given he already knows how to do evil cannibalistic characters too... Unicron. ;)
I'm disappointed Bumblebee is YET AGAIN a camero. It's getting old and honestly - he sticks out like a sore thumb - especially in countries like HK/China and Europe where they don't exist. He's be more of a robot IN DISGUISE if he actually took on a european car model given they'll end up somewhere in Europe if rumours are to be believed. I really hope they give him a voice this time.
I'm also curious about this "hound" vehicle given it has the red cross on it. I don't really see him taking on Ratchet's role. What was wrong with his old vehicular mode?
New Vehicles Spotted On The Set Of Transformers: The Last Knight

Looks like Barricade is back which is one thing that is good
Wouldn't it be funny if the VW combi has an Aussie accent? After all it is an iconic Aussie vehicle. ;)
I really love the mustang... so much sexier than a boring old camero! I don't care if it is Barricade or Prowl or whoever - I want a good quality version of that Transformer as a toy.
Pretty sure you see Barricade get wiped in DotM; he gets his eyes snipered out, then explosives placed at his feet.
according to the Wiki it was a little more involved than that, but I'd totally forgotten he was even involved. I thought he hadn't turned up on film since the first. :o
I guess he might have survived and like the Autobots in the last film been in hiding for the last few years since Dotm recuperating. (#stretching it I know):D
Combi with a German accent would make me chuckle ;)
Mustangs are popping up all around Oz now, pre-sold out for at least the first 18 months of being released.
GM will be kicking themselves, they initially planned a right hand drive Camaro but didn't go though with it.
A nice reveal of the new Barricade car... and various images of movie vehicles, including a new Decepticon tow-truck, and the new junk truck.
There will be filming in Arizona soon, which sounds like some highway chase scenes being filmed for the movie between a couple of the characters mentioned above.
Any bets on whether the junk truck is Wreak-Gar? He isn't one of my favourite characters but would be an interesting choice.
Also interesting that Optimus (the truck) hasn't been spotted yet other than his DoTM trailer a while back... I'm guessing he won't make an appearance on Earth until they hit Europe (if at all) and maybe like in AoE he will be mostly CGI'd even in vehicular form... assuming he is actually a part of this movie. Until I hear Peter Cullen do a voice over in a trailer I won't be convinced...
I think it's funny that they're now trying to stop people going to the filming sight(s) and taking pictures. You would think they'd know by now how hyped Transformers fans get over their vehicular reveals.
So a Merlin storyline hey.. um... ok I got nothing
This is hilarious. Another magical artifact and now Merlin the Magician. They actually paid people to write this stuff.
Gotta set up the Visionaries movie ( I guess? Without reading the articles)
Link to the source making these claims.
I haven't watched it, but they either have come across a leak from the script, or are guessing that the location scouting at Stonehenge was for something mystical or historical in the plot... which is pretty much the basis of all four of Bay's Transformers movies so far (Hoover dam's real purpose, Pyramids & Petra, moon landings, Dinosaur extinction).
It's hilarious because I dont think King Arthur and Merlin are even considered actual history. We went from the Moon landings to Dinosaurs and now Merlin the Magician? If Robin Hood showed up in the next one i wouldnt be surprised.
Gahhhhhhhh I'm tired of all these MacGuffins (I hope that's the right word) that these movies revolve around. First it was the cube, then the Matrix / Sun drainer, then the Arc / Space Bridge and finally transformium. Now possibly some mythical BS to do with Merlin.
Earth must be the unluckiest goddamn planet in the galaxy where random shit just happens to occur / fall in our orbit.
has anyone seen this Script meeting

WARNING - not suitable for children.
Mitch Pileggi from X-Files is in Transformers 5, but must be a very short role as he is already finished.
And it looks like a return of Wheelie, and the Decepticon fighter ships from DOTM.
