Christmas Eve saw the last new Transformers item for 2018 at a national retailer - Rescue Bots Academy Hotshot at Toyworld in the Brisbane CBD store for $50...
But the big news is the arrival of WFC Siege toys in Australia, with three of the wave 1 size classes being found at Toyworld stores in Victoria and South Australia yesterday.
Botbots now in Australia.
Toyworld were the first with Siege toys, and now first with the Botbots toys, with the single packs, 5-packs and 8-packs found at a Toyworld in Melbourne.
Plus, hot off the press - new Studio Series Deluxe toys found at a Kmart in Hornsby/Sydney. This fifth wave has Sideswipe, WW2 Bumblebee, Barricade, Crankcase, and should also have the rusty Clunker Bumblebee.
After a relatively quiet December and early January, we've seen another surge of new Transformers toys hit the stores in Australia in the last week... but unfortunately, they are very slow to appear around the country (most sightings so far are from Toyworlds in Victoria).
- WFC Siege - still waiting for the toyline to show up in the major retailers (other than Toyworld), the second wave has already been found, with Battlemasters Aimless and Pteraxadon found in NSW and ACT... and we are still yet to see the Micromasters at all (the wave 1 Leaders were also just found in NSW and VIC).
- Movie Mission Vision - the two gimmick toys of Bumblebee and Shatter were found at a couple of Toyworlds in the southern states, for about $40 each.
- Also from the Bumblebee Movie toyline comes the second wave of Nitro sized Energon Ignitors, with Blitzwing and Dropkick found at Kmarts and BigWs in a few different states.
- Rescue Bots fans haven't missed out either with more of the Academy toys appearing (Mega Mighties Bumblebee & Hotshot for $20 at Toyworld) and a new wave of Rescan bots with the new VTOL Blades (should also have the new cement mixer Salvage) found at Kmart.
