I got excited about the first AvP movie and Terminator: Salvation and got bitterly disappointed.
I will assume this to be yet another mediocre 'franchise cash-in' film until its proven to be otherwise.

CONAN HAS BEEN CAST
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=62581
I reccon that the original Conan movies were screaming for a third movie. Im not convinced a good Conan can be made again.
Damn it just do King Conan already, Arnie's at a good age for it!
Just watched the animated feature planet hulk!
Its awsome, i havent read the comics but i will now!
HULK SMASH!!!!!
Tekken has it's trailer up.
there is no god!
But huh?
Avatar: Last Airbender trailer will be shown at the superbowl... I love the animated series, so hopefully Shaymaylamo wont ruin it.
:)I'm looking forward to that one as well ;) The last Airbender that is not that I'm knocking Watchmen either:D
Have to agree with that, Mr Shamalamalalalala made what? one or two good films, but apart from that he's pretty much on Bay's level these days.
WHAT A TWIST indeed.
And Watchman 2 is a riot waiting to happen.
I can't stand the Shamamalamomano conceit of always having some dumb twist every time! It's boring and predictable now!
Red Skull to be villain in Captain America. Movie to be set mostly in WW2. I look forward to seeing this movie.
Well they are wanting to do the origin of CA, so best to start there they say. Of course they are going to do sequals, just as long as they do a good job of this one :p
Wonder what team that be ;)
I think they were doing Thor, then CA, and then the Avengers after that. I can't remember the exact schedule, but I think that was it. They have pretty much got a whole plan for the next few years with these characters.
The release schedule is this
Iron Man 2 - May 7 2010
Thor - May 6 2011
The First Avenger: Captain America - July 22 2011
The Avengers - May 4 2012
Not sure if they will have sequals before Avengers is released, unless they are working on them while they are filming the first.
Ghostbuster 3 Spoiler ahead
Sigourney Weaver spilt the beans on this little tid bit in December:
In the December interview, Weaver said: "I know that my little son, Oscar – who was kidnapped from me – I think he has grown up to be a ghostbuster," adding, "I might be in it and I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don't think I will have a big part in it. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it - he might be a ghost."
And now Bill Murray has confirmed said rumour with this:
And in the new interview, Murray says: "I'll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, 'I'll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.' So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film."
Turtles forever was AWESOME! the sound-a-likes were great with Leo being the weakest. Huge nostalgia blast seeing the old animation style return.
The ending was perfect, a must watch the anyone who liked the original show, even if you didn't like it, it is still a great watch but old school fans will get the most from it.
Re that Ghostbusters 3 spoiler...
I heard Murray using that line back in the late 1990s! So, unless they've decided to turn his joke in to a real concept, I doubt it's true... but you never know I guess!
I think Ms Weaver is just confused, or she's doing a "Bay" (ie, spreading false information).
On a slightly unrelated note (sort of), I just saw Zombieland the other night! Not only one of the best zom coms I've seen for ages, but one of the better films I've seen in the last 12 months! It's awesome!! *Spoiler* Bill Murray's cameo is the best cameo I have ever seen in any film! Ever! It's hilarious!! :D
Re: Zombieland
Deadset, that was a great movie. Woody is still doing some good films.Cracked up when I saw that scene in Zombieland.
On Ghostbuster 3, all will be revealed soon I imagine.
This sounds like a classic movie haha
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Has anyone read the book? I am intrigued by this. And if Tim Burton is attached to it, I think it's gotta be good.
^Sounds like an awesome premise, i'm sold!
A short clip of Bill Murray discussing Ghostbusters 3 last night! Apparently, it's his "nightmare" :D... they're trying to make his offhanded joke a reality!
I'm hanging out for The Hurt Locker I haven't heard a bad thing about it yet.
Alice in Wonderland was rather disappointing, Burton was really on auto-pilot for this one.
Yeah, I saw it in 3D the other day. It was rather unexciting!
I don't usually feel this way, but I thought Johnny Depp was grossy mis-cast! He just didn't suit the role at all (I normally enjoy his performances)... he just wasn't, well, "Mad" enough to be the Mad Hatter. Someone like Jim Carrey would have been 1000 times better IMO.
Just came back from seeing How to Train Your Dragon. I knew it would be cool but it blew my expectations outta the water, it's a must see!
I'm hanging to see Clash of the Titans. Big fan of the original so I look forward to seeing what they have done with this.
Also, Sam Worthington is the only Aussie actor aside from Hugh Jackman that I can actually watch on screen.
Release the Kracken!
I want to see Clash Of the Titans too, though I fear that they may try to make it into your bog standard good vs evil story. With Hades as your straight bad guy, and Zeus as somewhat benevolant rather than the shades of grey they should be.
I hope one of the TV networks replay the old film, I haven't seen it in ages but there's something rather retro cool about Ray Harryhausen stop motion effects.
