Finished 'Ocarina of Time'. Before I head on to 'Majora's Mask' I gave some co-op multiplayer a go on 'Borderlands'. So much more fun with another player. That game has dragged me back in.
Recently bought the Unreal Anthology. Brings back fond memories when Unreal first came out. Still heaps of fun to play.
The multiplayer on that is cool. Even the splitscreen is good fun, for me though, it doesn't quite have enough to make me wanna play it sngle player.
Downloaded the demo of Dark Void by capcom yesterday. Seems pretty cool. The video grabbed my eye when I saw one running in a game shop. Looks ver much like the old "Rocketeer" movie, which aslos had a game (on the Amiga believe). Still, the Dog fighting and storming Intsallations for some duck and cover seems fun. My only compaint is the control stick waggling that has been included as part of the melee fighting. Tets HATES control stick waggling.....
Hopefully it manages to pull the whole lot off and avoids the "one type of play being weak" syndrome, as it seems to be trying to cover many styles of play...
Hey fella's. What would you recommend thats recent and is action or racing or shooter for the psp. Because I am trying to get my hands on one of the PSP 3000 vibrant blue or spirited green.
.....What color is better?
Also does any body know where to get the these psp's on ebay. I saw 3 auctions 2 days ago, $250 something from a user called hulu or something like that including shipping. Then it disappeared and so did the other auctions. And all I can find is $300++
Australia's first gaming bar.
This pleases me. :D
Hey, in castlevania order of ecclesia, in the first castle. You know that bit where there are blocks that keep falling and there is a glyth there. How do I get that glyth with out the blocks, blocking it???
You have to get the really good fire glyph (cant remember off the top of my head its called) and attach it to both buttons and it destroys a heap of the blocks at once. Then you have to draw in the glyph before they all fall down again. Gotta have really good timing for it as well. (It's not the greatest glyph to get, it drops a little block down, I haven't quite figured out how to use it properly)
:confused:Has anyone bought the games Bayonetta and Darksiders yet, I know they raved about Bayonetta(10/10) in Hyper and gave Darksiders an 8/10. I'd like someones opinion here if possible, I'm looking at the 360 version.
Play the demo and give it a whirl. I played the PS3 demo (no 360) and wasn't exactly blown away. I found the deliberately excessive cheese-factor a bit grating on the nerves and the gameplay, while fun, wasn't anything amazing (especially after just playing the astounding Demon's Souls). Mind you, I think the original DMC is one of the all time best action games so I'll definitely be playing Bayonetta at some point to see if it can achieve what DMC's sequels couldn't.
With Heavy Rain and Bioshock 2 just around the corner, I'll be hanging onto my money and wait until Bayonetta hits the bagain basement. :)
ive read multiple reviews on darksiders and both say that the 360 suffers a lot of graphic tearing and FPS freeze up when battling multiple enemies, but it doesnt happen on the PS3. I also read that darksiders doesnt really offer anything original in the way of game play or story, and is pretty predicable.
Bayonetta looks ok, however personally I'd prefer a devil may cry game over some woman who kills things with her hair.
Yea like beating the bosses without getting hit? haha Yea you can go back and play it with most of the stuff you have in your inventory. Some stuff that is part of the story you wont have though, like some glyphs and that. Beating the bosses without getting hit gives you a medal, and honestly, most bosses are easy once you finish it and go back and play it. Though the only one I can't do it to is the dude who has a wolf for a shadow.
My next two days off are going to be well spent. Downloaded the two challenge packs I didn't have for Batman: Arkham Asylum, 'Zombie Island of Dr. Ned' and 'Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot' for Borderlands, all three map packs for Killzone 2, and picked up Bayonetta and Darksiders. :D
Currently playing Modern warfare 2 on 360 (like the majority of males aged 12 - 35 =P) gamer tag is Okhrana. Add me if you want a game sometime, but let me know your from otca otherwise ill think its some random =]
bioshock - upto taking pics of dead people
forza 3
gta iv
Is tekken 6 psp the exact same as tekken 6 on ps3? If not, what are the differences?
Well it wont be as pretty. And its probably smaller
PSP review and PS3 review
Seems Nintendo will be offering a retailer-exclusive for those of us who want to pre-order Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver - figures of Ho-Oh and Lugia. The figure of Lugia is pleasing to my eyes, and SoulSilver is the version I was going to buy anyways. I just hope someone other than EB Games offers this. I'd prefer never having to deal with them at all.
If they get released here at all.
Been playing Assassins Creed II and Ratchet and Clank, crack in time, both are very pretty games, but I find ACII more frustrating than fun, while R&C is very short, especially when you can sit down for half a day and more or less finish it.
Need to try the new DBZ game on PS3 to see if its worth a purchase, anyone played it yet?
Oh. It would probably come out in march this year in U.S so get it of play asia, it's cheaper and I think you might get the figures too. In Australia just like platinum it will come out in may.
Why do you dislike ebgames? I personally don't like the original Brand new prices cause they are such a rip.
No thankyou, I personally found that BT3 was a backwards step from BT2. Plus Budokai 3 and Infinite Worlds (which was a slightly upgraded B3) far better games! :D
Thanks for the heads up on Raging Blast, its a shame the two PS3 DBZ games are so poor compared to their last gen/Wii counterparts.
in a typical DBZ dick move they seem to have purposely held out on the game it deliver more characters/content for future sequels
So is anyone else looking forward to Heavy Rain on PS3? Pre-ordered the game yesterday and was told it's due out Feb 24th so not long to go! Really can't wait to get stuck into this one. :D
Umm. for Ps3 Slim I've had a issue. 1. When I turn of my ps3 Slim it stayed of but then turned it'self back on like a robot after 10-20 sec's. I've had a similar issue with the wii. Does anyone know?
Also 2nd issue, when you turn the ps3 slim of and leave a game in, the green light blinks like 5-6 times and you here a triple beep and doesn't shut of correctly. When I restart it, it goes "This system has had a issue turning of" "Would you like to report it to sony"?
BTW it's on a vertical stand so yeah.
Also on side note, what color PSP 3000 should I get outta carnival colors. (Radiant Red, Spirited Green, Bright Yellow or Vibrant Blue)?
Did you forget to feed your PS3? As the new slims are so thin they get quite grumpy and become problematic if you don't feed them at least three times a day. Smear some baked beans through the fan slot tomorrow and if you hear it say 'mmm, scrumptious!' you might be on the road to recovery. I just hope it's not too late already...
Don't worry Ben - people can have a bit of tongue-in-cheek humour around here, as long as it isn't at the expense of others.
If you don't like a non-serious one-off reply, just ignore it.
If anyone unfairly targets you to make fun of you, let me know and I'll get onto them for you.
But just remember that you've been known to post incoherant posts in the past that didn't make much sense either.
I don't know about the PS3 Slim as I don't own one. But when you "switch off" your Wii, I believe it actually goes into standby mode (and is not really switched off unless you pull the plug). The disc slot flashes a blue light and the Wii regularly attempts to connect to the internet to download messages and updates for the news and weather channels etc. However, I remember hearing reports of some Wii units over-heating because they stay connected to power for too long. I would recommend you "switch off" then pull the plug when you don't use it.
