Hmm, just got mine today. It's better than I thought it would be, but I was thinking it was going to be pretty rubbish. The colours match the figure very well and the vehicle mode looks really nice with sharpy painted blue flames on the blue plastic. However, I feel it is a lazy repaint, as Sideburn is just Rodimus in blue anyway.

I was hoping for something a bit extra on his face to make up for the monocle look he has going, but he only has a dab of paint over one eye. At least the paint application on mine is nice and sharp. Good to see they included the Autobot insignia on his fore-arm too.

I don't hate it, but I am glad I didn't pay for it.

Get it if you really love your racing cars, or Sideburn.

Looks like the wing tip on the spoiler of yours is bent mate?

I like the blue deco, although the paint on the eye looks lame.

I voted, 'only if...' for only if I could get one at a decent price - would cop around $50 for one, but not the drug prices they're asking for on eBay.

Mine arrived today...with the same looking spoiler as Tetsuwan Convoys.
It also has a dodgy pin through one hip, and a really loose canopy that rotates on its own.

I reckon they will all be like that, when I put mine back in the box, I discovered the box isn't big enough, hence the spoiler bending.

Kinda like the Cheetor techspec... it was too big, so they squeezed them into the boxes at an angle which crushed the corners.
If they were GIJoe toys, FunPub probably would have taken more care...

    I'm yet to get mine.

I think the tight boxes is a budget thing. they probably save a massive amount scrimping on box size, and then when the tolerancing is on the small side, things don't quite fit.

Mine arrived today with no bending of the spoiler or any of the other defects people have mentioned (well, none that I've found so far).

IMO the yellow eyepatch is not very effective. It doesn't stand out very much; it looks like the manufacturers just forget to paint the left side of his forehead crescent yellow.

The tech specs arrived unbent, but the instructions did not.
