well its a new kit so im guessing its how they came but they seem to big for the design.
Its the boulder blaster power miners kit 8707, just wondering if anyone has this issue or if it meant to be a little loose.

I've got this set and the treads should be loose enough so that they fit over the wheel rims but not tight enough to be totally snug. In other words, there is a bit of droop on the tread but not enough that it will actually fall off the rim. This is normal as far as I can tell since I have this same issue with other sets which utilise this set up. If you place the Boulder Blaster on a solid surface like a table, you'll find the problem is less noticable.
If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you

OK thanks for the confirmation, i wish they made them tighter because sometimes it wont roll properly and knocks off the gas tank thingy on the opposite side to the launcher. o well

So I'm building the Front Loader and I want to make it fully motorized and RC as per the instructions at Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=399314

Apart from eBay and the Lego shop, does anyone know anywhere else I could source the motors and RC gear from? (Lego shop has April as the ship date for the RC gear!!!)

Well the power functions set should still be in at toyworlds. I dunno if it has what you need entirely though.

Been wanting that since first pics came out.
But ~$280 seems a tad bit too much
