    Thankyou for any help

The head stack looks to be 5mm square, can anyone confirm?
maybe buy a couple junkers so you can make some reliable measurements.

you can get a small set of Vernier callipers pretty cheap on eBay also.

Staff can change topic titles... which has now been done with that one.

    I already have the callipers : )
Maybe if anyone knows the post size of the head stack, it looks to be 5mm or 6mm. Can anyone confirm? I can calculate most of what I need from photos on the net but I need a stsrting reference point.

What does the word "micros" mean in the jingle "Micromaster Transformers, the most incredible micros of all"?

As far as I know Micromasters were the only toys in the line to use the term micro so I'm not sure what they are comparing them to with micros in the jingle.

Definitely a dig at Micro Machines. Even the original packaging was an imitation of Micro Machine toys.

“They’re not just small” -> also a dig at the Micro Machines that were just small.

Ok, according to Google Micro Machines were small toy cars. I learnt something! (or maybe just remembered a long suppressed childhood memory). Cause all I ever remembered of Micro Machines were Star Wars and Star Trek toys. I had a ton of Micro Machines Star Wars and Star Trek ships and fighters.

Yep in the late 80s, Micro Machines were all sorts of small vehicles, released in multi packs (just like Hasbro emulated). They were very popular when I was in primary school but I just cared about the Transformers.

I tried selling all my micro machines on here lol. I did eventually sell them all, only have my military ones left. They developed heaps of playsets and veichles that opened up with mini figures inside. Now hasbro own micro machines.

I did dioramas of my military micro machines and the small legion figures. I thought the mini figures matched up well with the mini tfs.
