Default PC FOC retropack soon for pre-order

From HighMoon Studios twitter account is advance warning that the PC version of Fall of Cybertron, will be on pre-order at Steam soon... and will earn the Gen1 retropack. (I guess if you buy it after the game is released, you'd have to buy the retropack as an extra feature).

I'm guessing that this downloaded format for FOC on PC, is worldwide, not just America... as there is no sign of the game being released in stores on PC. If that ends up being true (Activision Australia never returned my call asking about it), I'm guessing that it would take a while to download.

Anyone familiar with Steam preorders/downloads, might know more about this, or can let other PC gamers know more when it is up for preorder/purchase.

Haven't pre-ordered through Steam before (Bought plenty though), but often there can be the usual price discrepancies (Compared to other Nations) we in OZ have come to know & loathe; That said they are getting better of late & I imagine that this will likely be the primary avenue of acquiring Transformers: Fall of Cybertron on PC - Hope everyone's got sizeable monthly download quotas.

Lucky bugger, I've got a 200Gb quota per month so I'll be right with TPG.

Steam Midweek Madness - Transformers: War for Cybertron 75% Off ($4.99 USD)

I sorta seem to remember WfC not being available to Australia via Steam at release...

Fall of Cybertron Preorder exclusive retro-pack is up for $49.95. Release date is 22 August (3 weeks away).
Which brings us to where we are today...

yeah weird, they've made it available to Australians
its tempting, but I already have it on PS3 and well... FOC is out soon and should be better?

I had to order WfC for the PC from America and it was glorious. Even had games with Goktimus.
And that's what I'm wondering, is it worth getting it on the PC, will there be many players for the online aspect of it?

Also, STEAM takes your money and automatically downloads the game upon release date. You CAN control if you want to pause the DL so your internet doesn't go pear-shaped.

Yeah with it being on Steam and not GFWL/Origin - there will be plenty of players. I actually played WFC a lot on PS3 and would do story co-op and escalation whenever anyone else on these forums but then my PS3 got stolen and I had to stop. But I'm definitely playing this as much as I can.

I read in the forums that WFC on PC even has a dedicated player base but I'm sure they'll switch to FOC
