I haven't seen 8275 ever though I generally just gloss over the Technic sets (I'll keep an eye out tho now). I can't say too much about the Technic sets b/c I don't very many of them. Part of Lego for me is how aesthetically pleasing they are while capturing all the detail of some RL. The more movement-orientated Technci doesn't do it for me w/ all the gaps for that reason.

I don't think they sell them out in the shops any more STL, thank you for the thought though

It's all online now I believe.

I do agree with you regarding the new lego sets, they're absolutely stunning and show just what can be done with a bunch of bricks.

I still like technic though for all the gears and functionality you can cram into a model.

Hey guys my local K-mart has the Batman Tumbler vs Joker Icecream van set on clearance for $55 (RRP is $80). So it might be worth looking at K-marts if you don't have this set yet as it's pretty good and is a steal at $55.

I just had my kids build this set. The Tumbler is solid and beefy. Really great vehicle. Joker's van is pretty cool too.

I noticed that Target now has the Castle Troll Impulse set (little $6 thing that comes with a troll and a weapon wagon thing). Hadn't seen these out before. 20% off starting on Thursday too!

Saw a huge blue lego tub (600+ bits), along with another box zip-tied to it (300+ bits, 1000+ in total), at bigW today. $68/9 whatever though.

For anyone interested, Myer have advertised the Mars Mission 7690 Eagle Command Base for $49 (usually $130). Also have Exo-Force Fight for the Golden Tower 8107 and Mars Mission Alien Mothership Assault 7691 on clearance as well (cant remember prices).
If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you

Don't bother to look for the Mars Mission 7690 Eagle Command Base in Melbourne. They were all snatched up in the first two days of sales!
