I can't wait for it... and for half the price of the JP one.
You can see why Hasbro probably couldn't release this version without a trailer, with how deformed the back of the cab looks on its own. It needs the trailer to hide that big fat stumpy back end. It's just amazing to see the price differences between both (essentially identical) versions.

If you are really picky for a darker blue, pay $250-300 for the JP one, otherwise, enjoy the saving, and what is still a great toy.
(considering they shaved $150 off the price, without gutting the actual toy or accessories like they did with Rodimus, a slight colour difference is a negligible factor if you can't afford the JP one)

And with those savings, you could get most of the way to obtaining MP Sideswipe and Red Alert

For $150 less, I would learn to enjoy the lighter shade of blue

Very good points, I should remember that beggars can't be choosers.
It'll be cool to see them on shelves locally, that's the amazing thing to me - TBH I think that once I'm standing in front of one, it'll likely be really hard to pass up.

1099.90HKD is about AU$134... put post on top of that and it'd be approx. $150. Might as well just wait until it comes out locally and get for around the same price -- that way if there's any problems with the toy it can be more easily refunded/exchanged <--JMHO... I'll just wait and get it locally as I almost always do with my TFs.

It is certainly a lot better than expected. The Japanese version is still better but the gap between toys is much less than previous Hasbro MP releases.
