Default Misassembled TR and Legends Kup.

There was a story on Seibertron saying that every TR and Legends Kup is misassembled. What would be a good way to fix the error without sawing through the pin like they did in the article?

Others have suggested that you can heat the pin holding the panel in place and then pop it off.
This post and this post over at seibertron mention the method they used.
Means you dont have to saw through anything but you'll still need a small soldering iron

Just did the mod this evening using the craft saw, took 20 minutes and it only cuts through a plastic tube. I did manage to scratch the paint on wheel but I'm planning on painting the figure.

I would not recommend using an exacto knife for this mod!

A word of warning with the soldering iron option as I caused minor damage to one of the legs. If You are doing it, hold the iron there just long enough to get some slight movement on the legs and push in pulses rather than one hit - otherwise you risk warping the hole on the panel under the head of the pin.
