Objectively speaking, the one thing I like about BiS Cyclonus' colours over Universe Cyclonus' is the lack of the mismatching grays, which is my main criticism of Univ. Cyclonus. Also Nightstick features more colours which makes him look nice. Other than that I think BiS Cyclonus looks rather dull. BiS Cyclonus is great for people who like G1 cartoon colours whereas Universe Cyclonus' darker colours are still more G1 toy accurate and more similar to the way he was coloured in the G1 comics too.

I don't have a preference for cartoon colours (I prefer G1 toy-accurate colours), so BiS Cyclonus doesn't appeal to me all that much. But I can see the appeal for fans of show-likeness.
