    Default The Figma toy thread.

With some interest happeing on the Figma side of things from the Revoltech thread, I thought perhaps we should separate them.

Got some pics of upcoming Figma, including the #100. WHich happens to be Hatusne Miku Append.

    Right here

Most of the figmas are half way downish. Good to see more Strike witches coming out!

I want a Drossel, I have only found a knock off version, which I took back to the shop. They were fooled too, but I educated them in their ways.

I satiated my need for Drossel with the Skiiing DVD holiday version.

Have you watched the show? Pretty good. I wonder if they plan on doing some more?

Got some coloured pics of the new figma Macaron= whatever for the psp game Queens Gate Spiral Chaos.

I dont blame you Valks I had a couple, you just pushed me along onto the more expensive ones...

I do like them quite a bit though I must say.

I quite liked the 'Fireball' series. Is there an actual movie/series on a Skiing Holiday DVD?

That cosplaying girl looks awesome. I'll have to check it out.

I only have a few Figmas:
    Drossel
    Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass)
    Black Rock Shooter

I have Rei Ayanami on pre-order currently. Considering White Rock Shooter.

I generally like them more than the Revoltechs. Although I dislike the way both have a habit of not padding out the series they pick up - I think Patlabor was about the only exception.
Which brings us to where we are today...

Hmm, not sure of the skiing episode. I dont think so, I haven't put the DVDs on to be honest... I downloaded some subbed eps first and then decide that Drossel was interesting enough to warrant more. I will have to have a look now.

The cosplaying girl "Maron=Macaron" is iirc apparently a warrior baker of all things.

The revoltech vs Figma subject is one I have wondered.
FIgma generally have more solid figures, and less obvious joints.
Revoltech genaerally have better posability, are looser and fall apart easily, more accessories. Joints are more noticeable.

I do like a lot of the figma I have to say. I prefer figma to revoltech's Fraulein range.

P.S I di a little photo gallery of my Black rock shooter and Dead master.

The Revoltechs I have are mostly good, but yeah, Fraulein SUCKED!!

I'm hopeful that Rei will be handled better by Figma.

I have a few Figma's mainly from the ikki Tousen series, and Black Rock Shooter. I prefer Revoltech overall as Figma's tend to be a bit more limited in subject matter. As has been said here they are way better than Revoltechs Fraulein sub line though.

I've been considering the Figma Dorothy the Android that is comming out in the future, but what good is she without Roger Smith to go with her?
