This is fairly easy for me to choose - Transformers Armada. It's the only Transformers game that I actually finished because it kept my interest.

I have WFC but haven't played it much. I also have the Commodore 64 Transformers game... unfortunately I don't have a Commodore 64 to play it on

Yeah, I really quite like the Armada game. My only complaint about it is the lack of multiplayer. WFC is my second favourite.

The Beast Wars game is my least favourite. I also found the movie game heaps hard... but I'm a gaming noob (as gekisou has witnessed first hand with the number of times he's effortlessly pwned me on WFC )

I swear, I never meant to shoot you... you just walked into the pathway of my sniper scope.

yeah, totally forgot about WFC for the DS. Those were awesome games and the TF: Animated for the DS was kinda fun but not enough to knock out any of my previously mentioned top games. Beast Wars Neo for the GB Colour was fun but due to limitations, an uninspiring fighter game.

I haven't got past the second level on either of the WFC DS games. I hate them. I don't want a game where I have to fight slugs and bees. I want to play a game where giant robots shoot each other. That is my only gripe with WFC on PS3. The spider bots and the slugs.

I liked the DS Animated game, besides the severe lack of transformation in it.

I remember having fun with the PS1 Beast Wars game but only had it for a few days from the video shop as I never found a copy to buy. I always wanted to play the BW Transmetals fighting game but I don't think it was released in Aus.

War for Cybertron (PS3) has probably been my favourite. It made good use of both modes and I loved the design of Cybertron and the pre-G1 forms.

I thought the Armada game made good use of both modes too. And I like how you could augment each character with different combinations of Mini-Cons. I just wish they used more Mini-Cons from the toyline instead of inventing their own... yeah, I appreciate the creative originality, but when playing games I like to imagine it's like I'm playing with toys. I like how WFC runs off the Unreal Tournament engine and allows for personalisation of characters. I also like the different character classes, gives it that RPG feel.

I also never bought the Beast Wars game. I rented it on PSX and disliked it greatly. The one thing that really annoyed me (aside from the horrific graphics which were even crappy for its time) was the drawn out long transformations. The number of times I would die either from prolonged Energon exposure or enemy fire in mid-transformation... argh!!

    "Dinobot, Maximise!" *zrrkk.whrrrll.krrrkk.shift* *dies*

The only thing I enjoyed about the game was playing it in other languages. It was funny how Optimus Primal was called "Gorilla" in Italian (which is weird, because the toy itself was called "Blackjack" in Italy's Bio-Combat Transformers)... and I like Cheetor's French name of "Velocitor"... sounds way cooler than "Cheetor"!

I have the Japanese NES game but I don't have a Japanese NES... only the PAL NES released here. I forget what it's called but it has Ultra Magnus on the label. You can watch the entire game on YouTube actually.

I also have the C64 game on tape, which was so fustrating in it's day

My fave is WFC...sorry, Cybertron Adventures on Wii.

I have to say I like Cybertron Adventures the best, mainly as I seem to always lack time for games. It's good for a quick blast every now and then, so it's problems don't really bother me.

The game is called "The Mystery of Convoy" (despite the fact that Optimus Prime never appears in the game ) - and the console is called the Family Computer or "Famicom" for short. It's the Japanese equivalent of the NES.

I used to have a Famicom when I was a youngin'... no idea what's happened to it now (probably doesn't work anymore). I knew another kid who had Mystery of Convoy and tried playing a few times but I was no good, so I watched him clock the game. But yeah, you can just watch it on YouTube now. It's not a very good game. :/ If you have an old NES (i.e. one purchased in the 1980s) you can get an adapter that lets you play Famicom games in it. However NESes in the 1990s were hardwired to reject Famicom cartridges... as I discovered cos I got my NES in 1990 as well as an adapter and it didn't work, so I had to get a Famicom too.

Here's what the adapter looks like. See that cloth tab? Make sure it's sticking out the NES door when you insert the cartridge as it helps you to pull it out.

I prefer WFC, the robots look great, smooth controls, good story, it recaptures the G1 feel while adding a modern touch and multi-player is great, especially Escalation.

I liked the Armada game but it got a bit boring for me, though the graphics were pretty sweet for it's time.

ROTF actually had some surprisngly fun multiplayer I still go on every once in awhile even now, but the rest of the game was kinda meh.
