Seeing as how faster then light travel is not permitted by Einsteins Theory of Relativity the only way another form of intelligence life could get here was either by developing at a faster rate then us or by bending time/space. Perpetual Motion is ruled out as it goes against the Conservation of Energy rule. So where does the power come from to get them from point A to point B?

Second if intelligent life has been visiting us then why are they so secretive? They would have the power to destroy us if need be. Why not say hello?
Maybe they don't make contact due to that Star Trek Prime Directive thing - no interfering with other species (I'm not a trekky but I'm sure its something like that).

Power could come from dark matter, WIMPs, or dark energy itself perhaps. Or quantum fluctuations - particle/antiparticle pairs that pop into existance for a short time and annihilate each other. (These also form the basis of Hawking radiation which someone else has mentioned already in this thread).
Even though these things might exist, harnessing them as a source of propulsion power is still on the other side of "the line" in the realms of science fiction.
See, I can cross my own line from time to time.

Most science begins in the mind as an idea or a dream. So it could be said that Science branches from Science Fiction so i'll grant the crossing of line.

The not interfering with other races makes sense but why travel light years just to watch? Unless we are a reality show as depicted in south park.

Anti-matter could be a source of power though harnessing it would be a problem.
Also food. I don't think their are many opportunities for intergalactic drive thrus though if a race is advanced enough to travel that far i guess they would have worked that out.

I've never seen the value in fish. They just swim back and forth and then become suicidal and jump out of their bowl.
And then there is the stik insets who even the cats bored with. They look like aliens and just sit their swaying

I once heard something about the alien autopsy video that came out of Roswell that was evidence it was a fake but I can't remember.

I've always had an interest in this sort of thing. I've still got a whole heap of UFO documentaries on my old VHS tapes that I taped of TV back in the 90's and early 2000's. You don't see any of those type of documentaries on TV anymore I remember the Roger Moore KGB UFO doco's, the one about the Egyptian alien was interesting.

You guys are aware that what crashed in Roswell was part of the then top secret Project Mogul. The US airforce were probably thrilled to have the alien story as a cover.
