With the nuclear radiation getting worse, I wonder is it safe to buy toys from there....
Most toys are made in china, so those bought from stores here should be from china instead of jap.
What do you think?

I believe this to be the case when it comes to buying Japanese toys from Robot Kingdom, TFSource, etc since they probably get their toys directly from the manufacturer. However I am not sure about stores like HLJ which may keep toys in Japanese warehouses before distribution.
Personally, I think that irradiated toys are not much of a risk.
I got HLJ in mind... some radiation have a long half life...
if just a few weeks, I dont mind getting them and keep it MISB in the garage, with some of my other movie stuffs
I would like to think that if the radiation levels on any item being imported into the country are above safe levels, the item wouldn't even reach you and would be seized somewhere along the line.
There's probably more radiation being emitted by your mobile phone than any items being imported in from Japan.
Check out this chart if you are afraid of radiation poisoning.

If perchance there was a high level of radiation in a toy, from anywhere, which is totally unlikely, they would have to be stored in a warehouse inside the reactor..
but anyway, if a toy was highly radioactive, we might finally get glow in the dark transformers![]()
