Emergency All Avast Users

This may be in the wrong section and I apologise, but it is an emergency for anyone surfing the web with Avast Antivirus.

As of 5:21AM (Time in Adelaide) Tuesday, Avast Antivirus has started to glitch up for all users and claim that all websites have malware and have thus blocked them. This can be proven by searching 'Latest News' for 'Avast' in Google, where you will see plenty of Twitter posts regarding the issue. I am also an Avast user who has been affected.

It is perhaps best that if you are an Avast user that you disable and uninstall Avast for the time being, get a replacement and if you want to surf the web do so carefully in the absence of an anti-virus program.

Well that sucks for avast users I've been using ms security essentials since upgrading to Windows 7, highly recommended!

Yes, I just checked the latest thread. Looks like Avast finally got around to fixing the damn bug. Avast should be safe to use again.
