Oops sorry, I kinda lump them all together as "Classicsverse." Well, if I had to pick just within Generations, RTS and United then it'd be...
5. United Tracks. A very nice update of the G1 toy - much like Binaltech blue Tracks... but only a lot cheaper. And unlike BT Tracks, the flame deco on the bonnet is tampographed rather than stickers (although I can understand why BT Tracks' flames are stickers).
4. Reveal The Shield Optimus Prime. I honestly thought I would dislike this toy, but after picking him up (on sale) I was pleasantly surprised. Highly articulated (I'm particularly impressed with the wrist articulation which lets him "hold aloft" his sword like He-Man) and the biggest surprise -- he's actually compatible with G2 Laser Prime's trailer! Neat!
3. Generations Thrust. 'Bout bloody time this toy got a mass-retail Classicsverse release. Although I already had Gentei Thrust, I went and bought a Generations Thrust which I gave away as a competition prize purely cos I wanted to show my support to Hasbro for releasing more G1 Seekers in Classicsverse.
2. Dirge. Same reason as for Thrust. I put Dirge as #2 though cos I needed it more than Thrust -- although I already had a Gentei Thrust before Generations came out, I never got Gentei Dirge (and I don't have any of the BotCon Classic Seekers either). So getting a Classicsverse Dirge was a bit of a grail for me.
1. Darkmount. FINALLY being own a Straxus toy is every G1 fan'swetdream come true.![]()
