New Masterpiece MP-10 coming in September

Reports are coming in about the next Masterpiece figure from Japan.

According to Joel from BigBadToyStore.com, who called it "MP-10"
We’ve just received word from Japan that the Transformers MP-10 will be released in September, the retail price in Japan is 22,000 yen, we have preorders listed at $249.99

The name has currently not yet been released, but we were told it is a ‘New’ figure and the name will be revealed soon.

Some are suggesting a new convoy, possibly powermaster!!!

No pictures yet. Just a placeholder blank image. Obviously "New" is not the full name, but It might lend credence to the rumors that the next MP is an all-new Convoy mold, as in "New Convoy". The retail price translates to about $278.50 USD. Whatever this puppy is, it's either a multi-pack, or BIG.

BBTS description says "long awaited". That and the price point would imply MP Soundwave to me. Still conspicuously absent from the MP line. The high price point could imply electronics and maybe minions...

It would be awesome if it was soundwave and his cassettes but as much as I want that I dont think it is or that we will be getting it any time soon.

With dotm coming out it would be a good time to do shockwave but again I don't think it'll be him either.

Theres a fair few rumours going around that it'll be another optimus prime and if its true and I think it is I'm gonna be pretty disappointed.

Another Optimus would be pretty anti climactic, Powermaster or not. Going alone the lines of Mr Tober, "..long awaited" would definitely be implying a much more well known/iconic character.

My guess is either MP Soundwave (with cassettes) or Galvatron. I reckon it's gona be a Decepticon character. The high price tag hints something big though. Maybe Devastator ? *wishful thinking*

I am guessing Galvatron to go along with Rodimus. It's a very close together release so maybe it is a delayed 2010 celebration figure.

It's big at 2 per case. Soundwave+ would be sweet but I do hope it's not another Convoy or movie related.
