Help removing PCC limb connectors.
Howdy all.
I picked up PCC Heavytread the other day to repurpose him as Brawl, and dammit I hate those freaking blue connectors. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove them? Unfortunately there are no screws and they're all held in place by pins, and I have no idea how to remove pins. I plan on doing the same to Grimstone, that is when I finally track him down.
Any help would by greatly appreciated.

I'm going to try hammer mine out. Get a small nail, place the tip on top of the pin holding the peg bracket in, and hammer away.
You might need someone to hold Heavytread for you though.

Havt to be careful doing this though. I ended up splitting and arm down the middle from using the old nail and hammer trick.

I vaguely recall a while back when a lot of us were swapping parts between Classicsverse Sideswipe and Red Alert that someone used a heated needle or something to remove a pin from the hood (I think it was the hood). Or am I just on crack?
EDIT: Scratch that. After some more thorough digging I found two great threads on how to do it at TFW2005 and ProCustomizers.

I just removed the blue pegs by punching the pins out with a hammer and nail. It does look better but unfortunately the tank has gaps on the side but better than those horrible pegs.

Done and done.
Took me about 10 mintues to do, most of the time was spent on the first pin because it was in pretty tight. Looks so much better now. Now to track down my Huffer and do the same.
