That might be an intentional cost-saving measure, cos from what I've heard the toy is an impressive piece of engineering for a toy of its size. I've only ever seen it MOSC, but it looked pretty cool.
Btw, has anyone else experienced Deluxe Bumblebee's chest being unable to lock down properly in robot mode? Cos I wanna know if it's a common design flaw or just a freak incident with my figure, cos if it's the latter I wanna get an exchange. Thanks.
My Megatron has derpy windshieldone sticks out a few mil while the other is flush
Perhaps, but its seems flat and flush on the box image is all
Picked up my first 6 DOTM toys today and, generally speaking, I'm pretty happy with the quality control so far. Only thing that bugs me is the looseness of the Legion Class toys. I didn't realise there was going to be a Ragdoll cat & Transformers crossover.
Oh, and Commander Class Sentinel Prime *****ing rocks. Sorry, just had to get that in there.![]()
Okay, I managed to get the chest of my Bumblebee to lock into place. I just had to fiddle around to get the peg to align with the hole properly - so there's no QC issue there. Just might be a bit fiddly.
Oops, I posted it here, but there's actually three different versions of Crankcase: snipped hands, unsnipped hands and TakaraTomy retooled hands (which will probably replace the long finger and snipped on all revisions eventually).
I suggested in that thread that we should report production numbers on Crankcases we've already bought so those of us who haven't yet purchased him can figure out which one to buy.

Sweet, my Crankcase was not snipped though I know of others in New Zealand that have gotten the snipped one.
