Is $149 still even worth it? I consider the $30-40 saving from ebay still worthwhile.

I gave into tempation and brought him. At $150 it's around what I've paid for other MP's and once you factor in shipping it's about the same.
Go the justification
I wouldn't even pay $50 for it. Pointless unless I can paint it blue for a custom TC. Hmmmmm
