    Default Crankcase's three different hands

As detailed at The Allspark, there appear to be three different versions of Crankcase with three different hands.

    1. Snipped middle finger: the long middle finger of Crankcase appears to have been (roughly) cut off at the factory, either due to safety concerns or concerns over the fact the toy is constantly giving kids the middle finger.
    2. Middle finger unchanged: There have been reports that versions with unchanged hands have been found. These are the same as pre-production toys.
    3. Retooled hands: According to pictures on Japanese image board 2chan, the Japanese release has a retooled hand with a much smaller middle finger.

So, we should report which versions we've bought and what production numbers (and such) are on it (I think it's the number stamped into the packaging cardboard and the toy plastic somewhere).

But a Decepticon should be giving people the finger... Optimus won't do it.

(was just thinking about the "exciting" job of some poor factory worker in Vietnam who had to snip off all those middle fingers)

Not quite sure how this figure converts as I don't own him yet but looking at the figure inside the bubble I can spot what looks like the long finger just behind the front wheel. I guess this is a good way to check it in-store before purchasing.

My Crankcase also has all figures intact, it seems to be a running change with the US most badly affected since it seems to be a rarity to come across a unclipped version over there judging by what some posters are saying over at TFW.

Mine has long fingers and has 10131 on the card back

Used to mean made on the 13 day of the year 1 (which would be 2011). So Jan 13 2011?

Picked one up today, and he's flippin the bird.

Not overly annoying either way, except if one decided later on to army-build two or three of these bad boys - sounds like it'll be hard to find 'rude' Crankcases after this initial release.
