Wii does nothing for me, if I wanna play sports games doing the actions, I'll just go play those sports in real life. I would be the kind of person who gets sick of the novelty, plus I can always just go to my cousins round the corner and play theirs. The only games I would buy are Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros
The only reason I am interested in the backwards compatability is I hate having 80 billion consoles hanging around for only 1 or 2 games! I still have my Mega CD stashed in the cupboard for Sonic CD times......

One thing I dislike about the Wii are the motion controls, its ok of you have the option of changing controller, but if you can't it sucks.

I really wanna play the new Tomb Raider game, but haven't coz to play it, you have to shake the controllers about in certian bits. WHY? Just let me use the damn classic controller and sit my lazy ass on the couch dammit!!!! As a result, I too have been waiting for the (n)on-coming PS2 version.

No current PS3s have PS2 BC, unless its a 2nd hand one, and in the case of the AUS release, only limited BC. Blu-Ray is region locked, warner bro's and Universal films aren't the others vary from a disk to disk basis.
Hmmmm, ok thanks. I wonder if any homebrew developers have done some ps2 emulating on it? (off to google)
