I fully agree with this.
Its kind of sad that Mikaela dosen't have any role in the movie whatsoever. I wonder if at least there will be a reference? or will she not exist at all.

There was a reference in the Dark of the Moon novel at least, where it's suggested that it took Sam quite a while to 'get over' Mikaela.

I suspect there will be a minor joke regarding Megan fox in the movie. Something similar to the "extra meaty" pizza for Isabella Lucas's pretender character. Isabella is a Die hard vegan for those who didn't know

Aside from the core inappropriateness of Fox's comments, what makes it even worse is that:
a) Steven Spielberg is of Jewish heritage
b) Michael Bay's adoptive parents are Jewish (Bay himself has been bar mitzvahed) and his cousin is married to Leonard Nimoy, also of Jewish heritage
c) Optimus Prime is Jewish
