HELP looking for a original G1 Optimus Prime or re-issue

Hope someone can help me, A friends mum is asking me for some help to buy her son a vintage G1 Optimus Prime. She want to get her 3 sons a toy for Christmas they cherished from their childhoods and she knows I'm a collector
I don't really want to the whole ebay thing only because you just don't know if your getting a the real thing theses days or a K.O.
But I do know of a really cool site where there are a bunch of guys and girls who collect them and thought that someone here might be able to help..


I'm wondering if anyone has a spare original G1 Optimus MIB they are willing to sell or at worse a reissue mint in box????

And if so how much money would it take to part with said Transformer???

Also if anyone is in Perth and able to help, that would be great, just to save on postage and having to worry about it being lost in the mail, but if not I'm sure she could handle postage as well....

thanks Blackie,encore Prime was what i meant when I said re-issue. that might be my best bet, I don't think anyone would be willing to give up a original g1 Prime
