Was going to post some comments in the 'I need to vent' section, not because I disliked the show, but the way FOX 8 treated it by having so many ad breaks. Just when I was starting to get into the show, there would be another ad break to take you back out of it.
I haven't watched Foxtel for some time (although I have had the service for about 10 yrs) and can't recall so much advertising. Back in the early days ads were limited mostly until the end of a show so you could watch it uninterrupted. Now, it's as bad as, if not worse, than commercial TV. What thew hell am I paying $100 a month for??!!
I will soon be canceling mu subscription and relying on free-to-air and downloads for my TV viewing. Absolutely disgusting Foxtel

I missed this as I was out last night, but generally the ads aren't too bad :/
Maybe some big shots paid millions to get their ads there? Wouldn't surprise me.

the adds ruined it for me too at one point there wasnt even five minutes of show and we went straight back to adds.. it was poor.
it has been one of the things i dont like about foxtel latley they are mimicing free to air with v shows running over time because they want to jam more adds in what is the point of paying for tv now.. i didnt mind it when they advertised foxtel shows at ends of programmes, and we used to mostley get no breaks in the shows... now its paying for advertising....
it was hard to get into the show.. but in saying that i did like what i saw i taped it i might edit the adds or maybe just download it...

I got my sister to record it for me because of three words "starring Noah Wyle" (
always a had a crush).
I've been seeing ads for this all over the world, literally! The trailers make it look a little Walking Dead meets V but with a limited number of eps hopefully its got a good story arc. And at least on Foxtel they are less likely to shift the timeslot around (compared to say Channel Nine)
