Default IDWs Transformers for August 2008

    http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stori.../idwaugust.htm

All single issues are around $7 AUD.

    All Hail Megatron #2
Love the design aspect to the 1st cover. Great Soundwave sketch if you check out the link

    Transformers Spotlight: Doubledealer

New cover, not seen before. It's quite nice and unique for TF covers imo.

Transformers Sequel: the Reign of Starscream

It actually goes for 5 issues. I'm still waiting for an oversized HC.

    Transformers Animated: Arrival #1

Interlocking covers. Quite nice though why the Archer needs to be on the cover eludes me...

Transformers Movie Prequel: Saga of the All Spark #2
UK Movie prequel comics are reprinted here.

    UK: Time Wars
In the same vein as the Space Pirates and Dinobots, these are reprints with new covers which aren't required unless you already have the originals which I don't. Nice cover too of Megatron v Galvatron.

Not much in the trade department.

It's interesting that they are starting Time Wars with the prelude Annual stories and not the first issue of Time Wars. The Highbrow v Scorponok story is not very essential to the plot of Time Wars. Something like Dry Run is much more important but that happens before Altered Image.

They'll get to the start of Time Wars, probably in issue 2, but IDW have skipped a lot of the UK stories that build up to Time Wars.
