I imagine it would depend on what part of Hexatron hit the ground.

Spiderken Away!
from the top of one of those 4x4 cube shelves on to carpet.
my guess is the angle it fell at combined with the weight of the toy on that part is why it snapped (OMG PHYSICS)
just really bad luck to be honest. i could probably drop it from that height a dozen times and not be able to damage it
Ouch! I asked because my Hexatron, Feral Rex, and M3 are shelved at a height of 1.5m inside a closed cabinet, however standing on its edge because of the stuff I have behind them. It'll be my worst nightmare to open the cabinet to have them tumbling down onto me - who to catch first?!

Has anyone noticed that Hexatron's Starfighter mode, when simply flipped upside down, makes a convincing battlecruiser?
I had mucked with the upside-down starfighter before. Its not without its charm and does have a few aesthetic advantages over the normal starfighter - like the six engine exhausts detail being more visible, cleaner forward fuselage (purple front bit), rear tank treads being hidden on the underside (now landing gear/treads), as well as forward and rear facing crew compartments (?, I dunno what to call them). Can even use the front landing skids as a hatch opening (yay, imagination!).
Only thing that kills it for me is the high-mounted wings.
Hexatron is such a good figure to muck about with like that. So many alterations and fan modes!
TF Figs of 2024:
1) Legacy Magmatron
2) Legacy Gears
3) SS102 RotB Optimus
I kinda like the high-mounted wings, weapons hanging below them - kinda reminds me of some of the Klingon ships from Star Trek
