    He's a model railroader, so he probably uses it somewhere on his trains. I have a funny feeling he uses it in the electronics.

    Really? I did allot of my G1 and BW chrome a good 10 or so years ago and its all still looking great.

    I've heard of various methods used to reduce / prevent chrome wear but to me, altering the original state of a toy for preservation doesn't make sense That's why I have just learnt to accept chrome wear.
